What are your fears for Avengers 3 Infinity War?

The word around town is, Marvel don't have good villains in the MCU. I wouldn't blame them, Hela has a lot of one liners, besides Loki there is nobody else besides Thanos. After watching the trailer, are you scared or hyped?

2.im ok with a few light jokes here and there but like 5 at the most and maybe some that are unintentional, but I want it to be majority dark

DCEU fanboys

1. Thanos gets defeated as a comic relief(Ultron/Ronan)

2. No real stakes(Everyone lives)

3. Thor:Ragnarok level jokes

@rbt: I’m sure that won’t be an issue the only Villian to be a jokester was Ultron and that was to mirror Tony

Hype. People will go into the movie expecting the greatest movie ever made, but the truth is that with all these characters/storyline...... it isn't possible for:

1. Marvel to deliver on every single interaction/comic book moment that fans want to see on the big screen.
2. Every character to get some sort of development or character arc. Some will just be there for plot/comic relief/action.
3. Every character to get equal screentime.

I hope Thanos will be fleshed out properly.

I am concerned that Marvel has finally put Thanos in a movie fully featured and they have done away with his spectacular armor. It's the equivalent of Darth Vader doing away with his mask and cape. Thanos is still awesome but I think the wigs at Marvel must have lost sight of how spectacular Thanos looked, and how having an incredible looking villain definitely helps the box office sales.

That its hype will hurt the last jedi...

Well can't get any worse Steppenwolf so nope, I'm not worried about Thanos.

Real worries are each characters having enough development and purpose and not feel cameo like. Also the story needs to be coherent in between all the action /chaos.

That it wont be as serious as it should be. Please I mean Thor Ragnarok was suppose to be one of the darkest and serious toned MCU flicks and look how it turned out. It was great and funny but they need to tone it down for Infinity wars.

That we won’t get any new feats from the MCU characters to use in a pissing contest against the DCEU cause that’s what its really all about here not making a good movie.

this is a movie with Ironman, Spiderman, Antman, Doctor Strange, Rocket, Drax, Starlord and Thor (one of the Russos said Starlord and Thor will have a funny relationship)

No real fears. I expect it to be pretty much everything I am expecting. Russo bros have a proven track record at this point. They deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Thanos doesn’t pimp slap anyone

That the sheer amount of heroes involved means screen time will be precious. Which also might lead into too much screentime for the human chars like widow/hawkeye/warmachine/falcon who I care less about.

Sliiiiightly worried Thor is going to be off doing a side story for most of the film on the guardians side of things.

Yeah, I like Ant-Man too, but I do kinda doubt he's in it much. Between not being shown in the trailer, not being on a lot of the posters/advertisements, and filming his movie at the same time; I'd be suprised if he had much screen time.

My fear is that they might make thanos into fodder level and lose to plot like they did in avengers cartoon. Lets hope they make him tyrant that he is.

@password65: I’m postitive that won’t be an issue the ONLY marvel Villian to be a joker was Ultron who was imo done well as a mirror of Tony Stark and I guess Killian kind of.

That Thanos isn't as bad ass as he should be, other then that should be awesome

Only thing im scared about is pacing and character on screen time. I understand certain characters get more screen time but hopefully theres a nice balance.

That street levellers will pose any kind of threat to Thanos, praying they get power levels right.

Thanos has been the man behind the scene since the first Avengers movie and lent an army to Loki to take over Earth. He should be the most feared, powerful and dangerous villain the Avengers have ever faced. I'm not saying the Infinity War movie shouldn't have any jokes but Thanos shouldn't be joking or a comedy relief at all since he is trying to rule the universe.
