Well Spider-Man Homecoming just beat Batman vs Superman In the Box office

I really didn't expect this I don't know if it's more BvS didn't make as much as it should've or if Spider-Man is just that popular or if it's both but I can say this does kind of make me happy

It sucks. A shitty movie like this really shouldn't be making all the money it's been making.

Doesn't matter though, adjusted for inflation, the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films' box office stomp all three of the latest Spider-Man films. The Raimi films also had a much bigger impact on Pop Culture and the entire comic book genre than any of the newer ones. The Amazing Spider-Man series and MCU Spidey is like Joel Schumacher in comparison to Sam Raimi.

Why people don't want homecoming to beat Spiderman 3? I mean, Spiderman 3 wasn't a good movie...

People really dislike the MCU.

Or people don't care that Marvel/Disney have made even more hundreds of millions of dollars. Them making money hand over fist isn't anything new.

Not like I will see any of that money. As long as they don't bomb I don't care how filthy rich they become.

It's whatever at this point. I didn't really care for HC. I anticipated the greatest CBM ever and it was a major disappointment.

It's a weird thing I've noticed we have going now, where movies that were once famously hated are now being elevated up just so people can say how terrible the modern movies are. People go on about how terrible The Force Awakens is and that The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are so much better or that Man of Steel is the worst Superman movie ever, even worse than Superman 3 and 4. Everyone is of course entitled to their opinion but the internet seems to be a lot harsher on any movie that's new or still fresh in people's minds than the movies of the past which most probably haven't seen in years.
