Watch the First Terminator Genisys Trailer

The first trailer for Terminator Genisys is finally here! Arnold Schwarzenegger's back as a terminator, but just about everything else is different. Can the humans finally prevent judgement day from happening or is Skynet's rise to power unpreventable? We'll just have to wait to find out, so to help potentially build the hype for the movie, an action-packed trailer has been released. The studio has also shared a new poster, so check 'em both out below.

Terminator Genisys is directed by Alan Taylor and scheduled to open July 1, 2015. How do you feel about the trailer, Viners? Does it look like it has the potential to be great addition to the Terminator franchise or are you going to skip it?

It's going to be PG so it'll be nothing more than a Transformers movie with smaller robots

Hopefully they'll at least release an unrated version on Blu-ray.

This movie looks like it could potentially be riddled with plot holes. I hope they got their s**t together.

This is the PG Era where everything is sanitized to death, it's the anti-90s.

Ummm... I thought the whole point of T3 was that Judgement Day is inevitable. Why do they keep trying to stop something they can't? Going back in time was proven to be ineffective in altering the future from previous films. They should have done without time travel and just pick up where Salvation left off already in the future imo.....Ugh, I don't get it. This movie seems to F-up the franchises continuity. Is this a reboot perhaps?

Let's hope not. The Terminator 2 Terminator inflicted serious kills back in the day......if they have that same one you never know.

When I was a kid I watched movies where the Terminator pulled out his own eyeball and shot old women in the face.

Expendables 3 was PG13 and just as violent as its two R rated predecessors. Just didn't have all the F-Bombs. The ratings have gotten more lenient over the years.

So, I'm excited.

Damn it. I love this franchise, as much as K4tz loves TMNT. I hate to see the way it has deteriorated. T3 was a comedy, albeit with some interesting ideas. T4 was just a disaster, and now T5 seems to be doing a horrible reboot. Having Sarah younger and saving Kyle from what is meant to be Robert Patrick's T-1000, but isn't.

I hope the explanations within the film are decent, if they are it can maybe save it. I don't have any hope though.

I actually hope this movie tanks and then I can buy the franchise rights. Seriously. They went as low as 100k I think until someone finally picked them up to try and reboot the franchise..

If it were me making a sequel, I'd basically just follow the T2: Infiltrator trilogy by S.M. Stirling.

Yeah that was pretty gnarly. It use to scare the sh!t out of me watching it as a kid back then, but I still would look. I always considered the first Terminator more of a horror film than a full on sci-fi flick.

It was so cool but these days everybody is so scared of letting their kids watch that kind of stuff they waterdown and sanitize everything till it's just generic CGI explosions.

I don't know what it is but i'm really happy that i saw this it either must the T-1000 or Older Arnold v. Younger Arnold hmmm..........must be Arnold v. Arnold

P.S- If they don't say Hasta la Vista Baby this movie get's bombed...(please note this is a joke the movie's gonna be awesome cause you know Arnold v. Arnold!!
