Poll Was Endgame a good enough follow up to Infinity War? (47 votes)
Infinity War was nonstop action that was clearly meant to set up a GRAND finale. Do you feel like EG kept up the intensity and delivered on the promise that Infinity War made?

Time travel dragged on too long I wish they went a different a route. The opening scene when they attack Thanos would have been so cool if it was him using the reality stone.
Endgame wasn't just an amazing follow-up to Infinity War, it was an epic conclusion to the MCU as we know it.
Endgame wasn't so much a direct follow-up to Infinity War, as much as simply the next installment in the MCU and the epic conclusion of the Infinity Saga.
That's why it had its own pace and story flow that was somewhat disjointed if you link it directly with Infinity War.
Not really in my opinion. Time travel shouldn’t have been the plot. Cheap. The final villain should have been the same Thanos that did the snap.
@g2_: what about is so good to you just out of curiosity?
Yes and no.
I considered a "2 months later" blog for Endgame but IDK how many people would be interested in that. So I might just drop my answer on here soon.
Oh no. Have we reached that phase where popular thing X is being underrated to counter its initial popularity?
Good enough? Hell, I think it was infinitely better. I thought the first one was fun like a roller coaster ride, but short on plot. Endgame had loads of plot and character interaction that didn’t involve fighting. I cared about the characters and their loss unlike Infinity War. Endgame wowed me on many levels whereas Infinity War did not. I like IW, but I loved Endgame.
Lets just say I expected more.
You know what it was? Endgame was predictable. We all knew the dusted would be resurrected. The only thing we didn't know was how they were going to do it. And I gotta say the journey itself was "meh". It had a few good moments but the rest were forgettable.

Pretty much this, I guess.

Have to agree. To me, Infinity War lived up to the hype and Thanos and his crew wrecked the heroes. Endgame was a disappointment to me. Overall a good conclusion to the MCU Infinity War saga but it lost a lot of potential of what could have happened instead.
