Htmlcomics.com lets you read back issue comics from publishers including Marvel and DC for free--and its legal. You don't need to download anything, and it doesn't give you any cookies. It doesn't have every series, but it has a lot (including New Avengers). I highly reccommend this site. Its htmlcomics.com
"@War Killer said:"Nothing is free, there has to be a catch. "agreed. If it was free how would they get by with it. "
Maybe its supposed to get you hooked on a series so you'll go buy it. IDK, its just a guess because that site hasn't really done anything to my computer.

Cool where did u find that out?
" @Korg said:Link on the site. I don't know whether to be skeptical about the supposed legality or take it at full face value." @War Killer said:Cool where did u find that out? "" Nothing is free, there has to be a catch. "They are passing themselves off as a library. "
This isn't legal. This isn't remotely legal. This is very much illegal. For shame.
And no--no I am not reading as much comics on this very illegal site before some publisher's legal team comes down upon it and eats it like they should.
I'm not, really.
...Oh man! They have Ambush Bug!

Oh thanks. I'm inclined to trust them
Really want to read comics free and legal? Go to the library. You'd be surprised at the collections of graphic novels that libraries have started to amass over the last ten years.
The one near me has a ton of Daredevil, various X-books, Spiderman, Justice League, and a few others.
They even have a copy of the Absolute DKR.

but that's illegal in itself.
Neither Marvel nor DC endorse any online libraries other than their own. This is why Marvel has an online subscription only area. Therefore, any claims that this site is legal are unfounded.

They might have paid to have comics from Marvel and DC. Anyway, if it was illegal, why only back issue comics?
" @xerox-kitty said:Not true. No one pays a publisher and then provides something for free. Back issues or recent issues, it makes no difference. It is an infringement of copyright law to reproduce comics. That's why scans_daily closed, and that will be why that site will also close as soon as Marvel & DCs lawyers hear about it."Neither Marvel nor DC endorse any online libraries other than their own.
