What are your thoughts?
Wakanda has an Intergalactic Empire!!!!!!
What book is this?
Neat, now below is no longer the biggest mismatch on the site... I mean it's still a massive mismatch.

What book is this?
Marvel Legacy #1
What book is this?
Marvel Legacy #1
wait so...thats the past book with Odin, PF, Panther and IF right? So Wakanda...had an empire but then regressed?
@thordinson: the space empire is new. There was a really cool looking futuristic city named after T'Challa. The BC avengers is a separate storyline
Edit - my bad. The whole planet is named after T'Challa
Anyways I think this is really really cool. I can't wait to see what kind of stories are created from this
Ridiculous plot twist taken out of their a$$, it makes no sense, but I guess it could lead to very interesting stories.
Marvel Legacy#1 Reveals what Johnathan Hickman had set up in New Avengers #1/Secret Wars #9... Wakandan Intergalactic Empire!!! Wow!??
It's absolutely OP, absolutely ridiculous.. but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! ?I hope we get more info on this because I don't want to seem like Wakanda always had it, It would make no sense with all the events that's happened but lately Marvel has been saying "to hell with continuity". Regardless I love it!
BUT! Honestly we don't know too much, we still need more info..
Alot more. Let's not get our hopes up too much, we don't even know how long this will last. So let's keep our excitement contained.
I've been saying for a while now that BP's popularity is rising. Every event he's more and more in the forefront and even more of a badass. His movie will only make him more popular and he'll be on everyone's Top Mary Sue list right above Batman lol. But I don't even care man.. HE'S A BEAST! And rightly so if you ask me.
@ithemanwithoutfeari: this one "meh" page stole the show in a 60+pg book ?
You see what happen when Blacks people are not oppressed by whites? They travel space and craft an entire intergalactic empire.
lmao
So does this mean that Wakanda is officially more advanced than Latveria?
It´s always been that way.
Though Doctor Doom versus Black Panther alone, the former is more advanced and smarter.
Coates, this idea under the hands of someone like Priest or Morrison would have me salivating but Coates will make it as boring as possible.
This means that BP can destroy all street level heroes in the battle forums. Take that Bats
Umm Batman: Dawnbreaker, Merciless, Red Death, Murder Machine and Devastator say hi. Take your pick.

I know right? GEOM just star system busts them. GG.
@entropy_aegis: True. Still I think the idea is a great idea on its own.
Why another solar system, though? Why not colonize the rest of our solar system to mirror real world pursuits? It's a minor gripe. Other than that, this isn't a bad idea.
Marvel better not screw this up....I remember being hyped for spiderverse thinking "wow what a new and creative idea" and than being let down....Don't repeat this marvel...This has basically infinite potential for a good story.
@entropy_aegis: panther god destroys every one of those fodder batmen. Black panther will forever beat batman. Haha
Hopefully it is executed well.
As I've preached before, I tend to get turned off when characters are uber smart, uber physically gifted, uber skilled, have nigh-invincible armor, and have access to practically limitless resources.
We do not need T'Challa to be more OP.
Since the movie has came out I wonder if this will be incorporated into the MCU depending on how popular the stories become. I am VERY excited for this as this is a HUGE character development to the Black Panther and his lore. However... Whats holding back my excitement is Coates himself is still writing Black Panther sadly...
