That's some Undeserved wank right there.

Thor himself is not even Continental by consistent feats.

At best, Stormbreaker is the one that should be wanked to that level, because it took the combined Infinity Stone beam. Not Thor.

Tbh, scaling above Konshu is dope given his feats, on the other hand...

1.-Konshu wasn't able to perform the stars feat on his own, he needed his avatar.

2.-We assume that Zeus is more powerful than Konshu because Thor said it, but maybe he is just not aware of the Egyptian gods or doesn't know their capabilities? I don't think Thor is reliable enough to accept such powerful claim, he didn't even know Zeus' personality.

I know that Zeus is the King of Omnipotent City, where there are gods and celestials but, was it ever mentioned that Egyptian gods are also part of the city's gods? And, does being the King necessarily mean he is the most powerful? Maybe he was just the King because of his charisma, or because the other gods found him funny, tbh being the King doesn't necessarily mean to me that he is the most powerful.

Apparently that's not the placement reason. Just additional proof. This calc is why he's star level lol

How do we know if it's an extremely tiny star orbiting an asteroid or if it's just Gorr moving it all the time? Why would he move it all the time?

Logically, Gorr would need to move the star all the time to continually create Shadow Monsters at will. Unlike at New Asgard, there are no buildings, electric lights, and street fires to cast shadows everywhere in the night.

When Thor and team land on the moon they unknowingly walk into Gorr's trap, which he secretly has under his control through Shadow Tendrils.

Would be impossible for him to do that without actual shadow. Shadows require the presence of light. Without some light, there is only pitch black darkness. Even when they enter Gorr's trap, some very dim light is always present.

Look at the start of their fight after Thor busts the moon. Gorr's monsters rise from the actual shadows. However, if the star stayed fixed directly overhead of Gorr, there would be no shadow since they would be covered in bright light.

Long story short, a constantly moving star constantly creates shadows on the moon so Gorr can constantly use his power.

It’s a little bit of a lowball tbh.

With Infinity Stone scaling Thor can be argued as universal.

The very first god Thor names on his dream team wish list is Ra, the Egyptian sun god, whom he says has been in Omnipotence City. As for Khonshu, while he needed an avatar to move stars, his avatar is a normal human otherwise, he does in fact have the avatar, and most importantly, Khonshu still did the feat -- the gods punished him, not his avatar.

Within the MCU, physical power is repeatedly depicted as corresponding to leaders of fictional powered places. Black Panthers have led Wakanda for centuries. Odin was clearly more powerful than Thor while he ruled Asgard. Thanos was more powerful than anyone in his armies. But even without that, there's no reason to assume Zeus = weaker than the other gods.

I don't think Thor is considered to be a planet level.

1.) We have only seen him destroy the county of Sokovia in Age of Ultron.

2.) Destroy a part of of Jotunheim in the first Thor movie.

3.) Moved the rings of Nidavellir in Infinity War.

4.) Summon Stormbreaker that send lightning to the whole area of the moon of shame in Love and Thunder.

Which is impressive but these feats are only either moon level or country level which is not planet level.

I didn't remember that. So Egyptian gods are in Omnipotence city too...Interesting.

As for Khonshu, while he needed an avatar to move stars, his avatar is a normal human otherwise, he does in fact have the avatar, and most importantly, Khonshu still did the feat -- the gods punished him, not his avatar.

Yeah Konshu carried the responsability but he still couldn't perform it without his avatar. And Moon Knight is not a normal human.

There isn't a solid confirmation of Zeus being more powerful than any other god neither.

Logically, Gorr would need to move the star all the time to continually create Shadow Monsters at will. Unlike at New Asgard, there are no buildings, electric lights, and street fires to cast shadows everywhere in the night.

But what if the star moves on its own? Or what if it's actually the asteroid what is moving and not the star? It's way more likely IMO.

Moon Knight is not a normal human because he is Khonshu's avatar. Otherwise Marc / Steven / Jake is just mentally unwell.

Say Zeus is only as powerful as other top tier gods. That's still as powerful as Khonshu or Odin, who turned Frigga into stars.

Loading Video...

The moon is not moving when Thor and team approach it with the goat boat. The star is moving in relation to them both.

Loading Video...

As for the star moving on its own ... the star was not even present when Thor first saw the moon from afar with the kids. Seems unlikely the star would not be present at all here, forget circling around, if it were on a set orbit with the moon.

On a separate but still cool note, this article from yesterday confirms that a real life asteroid the size Thor busted would be an extinction-level event:

https://www.theguardian.com/science/2022/nov/01/huge-planet-killer-asteroid-discovered-and-its-heading-our-way

"With a diameter of about 1.1km to 2.3km, the team say 2022 AP7 is the largest PHA discovered since 2014 and probably in the top 5% of the largest ever found.

Any asteroid over 1km in size is considered a planet killer,” said Sheppard, adding that should such an object strike Earth, the impact would be devastating to life as we know it, with dust and pollutants kicked up into the atmosphere, where they would linger for years.

“The Earth’s surface would likely cool significantly from sunlight not getting to the planet. It would be a mass extinction event like hasn’t been seen on Earth in millions of years,” he said.

---

Iron Man measured the Sokovia asteroid onscreen at 1.9 kilometers in diameter.

No Caption Provided

According to this article written by a NASA astronaut and MIT PhD:

https://www.americanscientist.org/article/better-collision-insurance#:~:text=The%20impact%20of%20a%201,largest%20thermonuclear%20weapons%20ever%20detonated.

"The impact of a 1-kilometer asteroid would release the same amount of energy as 70,000 megatons of TNT or, equivalently, as 1,400 of the largest thermonuclear weapons ever detonated."

So Thor at least overcame that, before awakening to his full power (and there's no proof this even knocked him out):
