Vote for the Next Character of the Month: 1/15

Damian Wayne, your time as December's Character of the Month is just about over. We're glad you enjoyed your time in the spotlight, little dude, but now it's time to step aside and let someone else get a full month of praise and attention! For our latest theme, we're going for comic book characters that have appeared in animated movies. Your options are Aquaman, Black Widow, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Hulk, and Superman. Remember, you're voting for the comic book character and they're the ones that'll more than likely appear in the several articles throughout January. But hey, if you really loved 'em in an animated movie, then there's nothing wrong with letting that play a role in who you vote for.

The winner will be very, very busy next month. Not only will they appear in our Battle of the Week segment, but we'll also highlight some of their best covers, talk about one of their must read stories, and praise one of their best action sequences. It's very possible we'll have a few editorials about the winner and, as always, we encourage you to celebrate their victory by coming up with all kinds of threads that feature the character.

Which character do you think the community should praise and learn more about in January? Who do you think deserves it? Really give this one a good amount of thought and then cast your vote below. If you really want a certain character to win, do more than just voting and posting once! The poll will close Friday morning, so that gives you more than enough time to support the character and give 'em a better shot at winning (or help them keep a tight grip on their lead). There's plenty of time before the poll closes, so make good use of it! The winner will be announced on the homepage this Friday.

Hulk needs some love on here to be fair and it's been a DC character 2 months in a row

Normally, I would vote for Superman. But I just finished reading World War Hulk last night and it was amazing. My vote is going to Hulk because I want to know more about him.

Aquaman. He's my favorite character. How could I not vote for him.

I really want Green Lantern, but i'll accept Aquaman or Superman

Ah I see this is one way you're giving Superman another chance Gregg, nicely done. A good variety of characters from the Big Two as well though you're going to get complaints regarding not enough independents. Fine by me though.

It should be obvious who I'm voting for but Big Blue deserves some attention and respect on the mainstream articles. An Aquaman, Green Lantern or Hulk month would be cool to be certain and I'd definitely check most of the stuff out but opening up 2015 with a Superman month would be truly awesome IMO.

Aquaman would be great since he's a skilled heavy hitter who isn't as high as Wonder Woman, Hulk, or Superman, so the fight possibilities are endless.

For me it's between Hulk and GL

I'd instantly vote for Superman given the choice of characters but i read the theme and even though my fav dc animation so far is a superman movie i'm going to vote for Aquaman because 1. The next dc animated film, first of 2015 revolves around him. 2. He's awesome! 3. It's about time.

Give Doc Green some love.

i'll give my vote to Aquaman even though i won't be around to see the winner, but im sure somebody from DC is going to take it. I honestly wouldnt mind seeing Clark or Hal get it also. Since Aquaman dc's animated movie is dropping next month, it's only apropo for him to get it.

Its a tough choice between hulk and superman IMO. I would like any of these though.

I don't know if the battle forums could survive a flash month.....All though the other articles would be pretty cool.

If kyle rayner or larfleeze was the lantern I'd vote for them but since it's hal I'm going aquaman.

I voted Black Widdow. I think everyone is just voting for aquaman cas they want the biggest loss ever in a CV battle pole.

I decided on Hulk, either way looks like it was futile.

I hope Sentry never becomes the character of the month, not because of my dislike towards him, but due to the flams wars that are going to get created.

Aquaman for the win..with Throne of Atlantis coming out in January how could he not...and why is superman, green lantern, and hulk in here? Do they have any recent animated films I dont know about?

I voted Superman because he's my favorite character and I'd love to see more hits of reads, maybe something I didn't read yet.

But now I totally think I should have voted Aquaman too. Dude deserves some spotlight. Glad he's on top.
