I mean both are awesome you can't deny that but they faced the same tragic due to the fact that the both of their respective companies (wwe and marvel) used them badly so fans hate them
so what you guys think ?

No. Just no. Besides having very different looks, Roman isn't very good on the mic. I don't think he'd do well in the role at all.
@indomitableregal: while I respect your opinion
But I have to ask does sentry really need someone who can talk well ?

Can you think of any A or B list MCU character with virtually no lines? Because Roman would be extremely limited, both in dialogue and range. And then you have to take into account that with Sentry comes the Void. Does Roman feel like he can be a counterpart to a character like that? What about the Bob Reynolds aspect? If you would want Sentry to become a household name the way other MCU characters have, Roman just isn't the right choice.
@indomitableregal: I see
Let's see what others says
@supermanthor: Personally, if I were casting Sentry I would go with someone like Charlie Hunnam or Alexander Skarsgard.
@indomitableregal: both are great choices tbh
@aqualion0: what ?
I just ask a question
@richubs: well he could still be in a movie which will be better than twilight ;)
LOL true I guess
@kinglouie: yeah sometimes
Well... people dislike both these characters for multiple and different reasons, some that overlap, but some that conflict with each other. The characters strengths and weaknesses can likewise be discussed, and so direction for such a movie... will the movie be a deconstruction? Or played straight? Play up the Superman parallels and a corruption of that, or lean heavily mental health and be more tragic and sympathetic? Are we including Robert Reynold's? Played by the same actor as Sentry or different? How will his powers be portrayed?
Its... a complicated question. I like Sentry and Roman Reigns, but I do not think they are a good fit for each other, despite some of the parallels that could be drawn between them.
@lan_fan: and Valkyrie was a white dudes or dudas ...... Something like that
Suffering succotash son
:(
No. One, he doesn't even look like him. You can get away with color swapping some characters, but everything about Sentry is “golden” down to the hair. And you want to say their respective uses them badly? Maybe Sentry, but Roman? Not even. The guy was pushed to noon when he wasn’t ready, was forced to be Vince’s image of him, main evented 4 Wrestlemanias and so on that the constant shove caused a massive backlash. Wwe didn’t misuse him. They forced him too much but he was given everything.
3rd, Reigns is not a bad wrestler, and when he can be organic he is good on the mic. He isn’t the best but I will say he is good in the ring and if it weren’t for multiple shield reunions and Brock being Brock, he wouldn’t be as over as he is today. And is ring work and story telling is good.
4th and back to Sentry. What qualifies him to be Sentry? Muscles and long hair? Sentry is supposed to be a guy that has a heroic side that represents the best the world has to offer, while also being haunted by the worst it has to offer. He has many mental instabilities and issues such as schizophrenia and agoraphobia etc. The character itself is such a range to play that Reigns doesn’t fit. He is best as a tweener, warrior type guy as far as his wrestling persona goes. Not the puppet. Not the forced sufferin succotash. Just the guy who wants a fight, protects his friends and his morals. Or take that not caring attitude and he is a good beat’em up heel like initial shield run.
So no, this idea isn’t a good one.
