Tyrion vs Gimli Lord of the Rings vs The Song of Ice and Fire part 2

Round one. Tyrion and Gimli in a one-on-one duel. Tyrion gets his Lannister armor his battle axe in Blackwater, and his crossbow( unloaded) and two bolts.

Gimli gets his standard gear.

Round two Gimli commands the Army of Eredor.

Tyrion commands the armies of the unsullied and the Dothraki.

Um. Gimli utterly destroys Tyrion in combat. Humiliates him. Tyrion won't even have time to load his crossbow before his head has been cut off and used for a game of Hobbit Golf.

Gimli slaughters him, you can likely put Gimli against fairly high-tier ASOIAF warriors in my opinion, I think he's pretty underrated, I don't know why you'd put him against Tyrion...

Depends on the terrain and what have you, but on balance probably Tyrion, as tough as Dwarves are Tyrion has a big numbers advantage, this might not be quite as daunting if the Dothraki weren't literally all horsemen, which is an advantage Tyrion would no doubt try and make the best of, plus there's the Unsullied who are basically Spartan drones that don't feel pain.
