Ehh...You know, Mephisto will somehow try to find a way to twist this rules and then do it. I remember something like this happening during tons of his contracts.

Thanos, without a doubt. I'd just have to sit in a corner, keep my trap shut, and not bug him. He on the other hand would consider me so beneath him, he'd consider torturing me to be a waste of his time... to be honest he might not even acknowledge my existence. Easy million bucks.

Thanos, without being able kill me he probably wouldn't do anything as long as I don't piss him off.

I said Darkseid but it seems like everyone who picked Thanos is giving the reasons I thought would've worked for Darkseid. I may have screwed this up.

Thanos, because unless you really managed to annoy him, he is the least likely to come after you once the test is over. Darkseid however will take your best seat and mock you.

@y2g: Darkseid's the kinda guy who might torture you outta sheer boredom. Kinda like how children pull the wing's off of flies or moths. Thanos never really showed that kind of psychosis. He doesn't torture people out of boredom or for pleasure. He always has some kind of extended goal.

Eh? I thought Darkseid is the type of guy who engages in pragmatic villainy? He would still vanquish you out of petty rage but he won't torment you out of boredom - because such kind of stuff takes more effort as opposed to omega beams or a "simple" neck snap.

Also lol at the voters here picking Joker. As if they would do that in reality.

As people are saying, picking the egoistic, extremely powerful villains would be a better choice. At worst they would just look down at you and hence see you as a waste of effort/time to even bother verbally tormenting.

If you choose to sit in there with f*cking Mephisto, you're out of your mind.

Thanos for the reasons stated above...He is possibly the least sadistic, well have the least interest in tormenting some nobody for no reason anyway. He would most likely demand you cower before him and intimidate you but I can't see him deriving any pleasure in sadistic torture like pretty much everyone else would.

OP says nothing about fighting back and Joker seems the easiest to take down when least expecting it.

I'd have to go Darkseid. He's not really insane like most of the others, and he doesn't really bother himself with lesser beings. Then again, he's kind of known for having the most advanced Torture Chamber in all of comics, so it's a gamble to say the least.

Thanos for reasons already stated. Darksied is a close second but he's a little more cruel than Thanos so.....

I'd prefer to be trapped in a room with Thanos he's less inclined to spontaneous outbursts of insanity and i'd probably end up having a conversation with him about the universe as a whole and at the end i'd probably end up liking him.

Darkseid. I would legit want to have a conversation with him. I feel like he'd feel killing me was beneath him, and at best, he would ignore me.
