I'm totally fine with the concept of Rey being #1, her beating All Sith Sidious Grant's her this, but I kinda discount her in this because she had the power of all the jedi at that time. Not throughout the movie, and its unknown if she could ever draw on that power again.

I’d give Obi-Wan and Rey a tie, cuz Obi-Wan was a pretty average force-user, but a great duelist. Rey was pretty powerful, and will probably become the most powerful in the future, but not the top spot yet.

Also, honorable mention to Leia, who would have been the most powerful if she trained

Are people saying Mace because of his skill as a Duelist. Whenever I read about mace it’s typically centered around Vaapad and his skill with a saber.

Why does everyone say Rey ?, she's not so powerful.

@crater_maker: Yeah, he was the best duelist during TCW. Or at least second, Yoda being stated to be better. Him being master of the order also kinda says he's the second best jedi of TCW.

Him having Vaapad was also a great ability combat wise. Force wise he also has decent accolades as well.

Hes also got the Palpatine feat. Which I wont get into because people are very adamant on their take of it, but regardless is very impressive however you cut it.

@finalkingthanos: Honestly I'd be interested in your take for both. However I'm more leaning towards Legends because I'm less familiar with that material.

How would you judge him solely on his ability with the Force? If you were to Gauge it with Yoda or Skywalker’s.

@crater_maker: Soley the force? Not on the same tier that's for sure. Its honestly where the gap widens. Whereas I personally believe that his mastery of Shatterpoint and Vapaad puts him on the highest tier of sabre combat I feel like his force ability are subpar compared to someone like Yoda or Luke. He just (to my knowledge) doesnt have the feats to suggest he's on their level in that regard. It's why I, as well as most people that I've seen, put Mace Windu on a high tier 8, while Yoda and Luke are a comfortable tier 9 (Luke being higher on that tier undoubtedly).
