has there ever been a comic that explains Tony Stark's ethnic heritage
i always thought he was Italian, but is he German, French, Spanish etc.?
@comicace3: thats what i thought he was Italian....
Stark is originally a german name, but has become prevelant in England and America
Anthony is most typically English,
Howard (his father) is an english name
Carbonell is his Mothers Maiden name, is English and French. Exclusively.. while her first name (Maria) can most often be said to be either the Spanish or French Equivalent of the english name Mary. the first name could be meaningless (as they often are) but I think this reitierates a DISTANT french background, perhaps english with ancestry in France
so I think His Mother and Father are descendants of early english colonists, His Father's line deviates from the Saxon Invasion of England in 450 ad, His Mother's line however shows up in England in 1066 ad. with the Norman Invasion
Tony... is English... potentially of either Virginia Colony or Massachusetts colony (IE early colonists makes the most sense to me) this is backed up by his appearance. this dark hair and untanned but tannable skin, is very typical of norman and saxon descendant englishmen.
