Again better they describe it than us… saying you wont accept it is one thing, saying no one will is another..
This isn’t contradicted on screen and it’s actually supported because those suits were different than older suits… and maybe they didn’t amp Tobeys stats, but maybe they explain how he took electristy so well.. idk just additional information that’s always welcome.
@death4bunnies: At best I can see some argument for insulated suit, given that they all tanked Electros attacks without much issue. But any argument that they were strength or speed amped isn't supported by anything.

I didn’t make those claims, just that it’s augmented.. electricity was just a easy example.. I’m fine with just saying augmented over thier old suits as I don’t think it would be a downgrade.
I could see their outfits being tougher (presumably) but they don't have technology at the level of Stark's nanotech, which impresses me a lot. Tobey has passive spider-sense and organic webs which plausibly match Tom's tech in a way.
That said, they don't need tech to match Tom. Hell, even Tobey is being considered above Tom.

Uhm, they definitely weren't amped and the passage you wrote never claims they where either. And they where weaker, as Octavius was able to grab them. But most of the time their abilities where on the same level.

Call it what you want, but a augmented suit is an upgrade, an amp in every sense of the word

Didn't Garfield have an insulative suit which helps against Electro
Ferry is definitely over 1000 tons, so is the belltower.. and he overpowered cull in 2 separate movies.
That last one is concept art for NWH.
The bell tower was not completelt broken off but a portion was collapsing and he slowly redirected it and it still fell, he was only taking a small portiin of it's weight, ask yourself how can a character who cant fly lift the full weight of an object while standing ontop of it? The ferry feat has been addressed in other threads as to why he's not lifting the weight of the ferry so i wont go over that again
As for Cull he has no feats to suggest he can lift a thousand tons so Spiderman overpowering him doesn't prove he can lift a 1000 tons
