Thoughts on The Sandman, Lucifer and Hellblazer? (Vertigo)

Anyone who have read these 3 series?

They are the best comic books i've ever read. The Sandman even beats many more traditional very good novels.

Wanna hear your guys' opinions.

Sandman is one of my favorite pieces of literature of all time. Especially the "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "The Sound Of Her Wings" issues. Both issues speak a great deal of a conscious being's nature.

Still haven't fully read Hellblazer. The Sandman and Lucifer are my all time favorite comic books period.

Are these the comics responsible for the Lucifer wank?

I am not gonna turn this post into a Lucifer discussion thread.

They're all 3 absolutely amazing.

I want read them, hellblazer looks interesting but how do I start I saw that their swamp thing comic have read then hellblazer. The order is confusing

Let's be serious, you wouldn't know a good character if they hit you in the head.

On topic, Hellblazer is the least strong series of the three - it had the longest run, different creative teams and the weakest leading character.

Sandman and Lucifer transcend the medium.

Let's be serious once again: you cannot speak "objectively" in general, let alone when you judge a character without knowing them altogether. Which you don't, since you have not read Mike Carey's Lucifer.

So, again, what are you doing here other than trolling?

Bet you haven't read any of the Lucifer comics or anything from Neil Gaiman. You just got an idea of the character from the battle forum.

Both sandman and lucifer are awesome and one of my favorites.

I love the Lucifer series and I need to finish Sandman some day. From the little I've read. it's pretty great. The Century Man was my favorite issue

Absolutely love Sandman. It's My favorite comic series. I recently started reading Lucifer.

Sandman is OK. Lucifer (original series) is very good. The reason I prefer Lucifer is the focus on its main cast of characters. I wasn't a fan of the Sandman one-shots. Sorry but I just don't think 20 comics pages are enough to write a truly good story. The main story was good, though.

Haven't read Hellblazer and am skeptic about reading the 2015 Lucifer series. Heard it made significant retcons to the original and other bad things about it.
