How could this question possibly be answered anyway.

The axe was broken only after Superman freezed it to make it brittle. At other times it didn't have a scratch at all. Moreover comparing Mjolnir's durability with the Axe is impossible. We don't have any idea or numbers to do so. Also it's still sort of blurry how Hela broke Mjolnir with her strength. If it really is made of stellar degenerate matter then it's a huge outlier and pretty stupid on the script writer's part.

Hela was stabbed clean by an Asgardian soldier, isn't it? Going by Hela's cutting/piercing durability on-screen, If her hand comes in contact with the sharp end of the Axe, she'll lose her hand. Asgardians can't regenerate entire limbs or vital organs right?

Hela stopped Gungnir with barehands which was directed to her with Thor's strength.

@_kingoflatveria: yea probably. You know, unless you can prove mjonir is more durable than doomsday. I mean we already have visual proof that steppenwolf's armor and axe are.

Your turn, lol at being done, when you literally have provided nothing to support your claim

@DammeFavour: Sokovia was more powerful than a nuke and Mjolnir wasn't even scathed. A regular Nuke would not even crack the surface like Sokovia explosion did

@_kingoflatveria: OK. ...let's just drop this since you're being delusional. You don't even know what a nuke does, looking big and flashy does not make a more powerful explosion. A nuke wouldn't leave chunks of rocks falling out of the sky or iron man alive given his proximity. The temperature alone would vaporize everything in its radius.

And you do know sokovia exploded outwards from the centre right with tunnels filled with energy running through the entire landmass?

Avatar image for _kingoflatveria
#27 Posted by _KingofLatveria (16980 posts) - - Show Bio

@DammeFavour: A nuke wouldn't vaporize Sokovia to the degree, that explosion did and Mjolnir was unscathed. Doomsday absorbed the energy, there's a difference.

Destroys it because of magic.

Avatar image for DammeFavour
#29 Edited by DammeFavour (7696 posts) - - Show Bio

@_kingoflatveria: OK Bro.....he absorbed it and there was just that fireball that was completely unrelated to the nuke in the skies of metropolis right? Doomsday only absorbed kinetic energy throughout the movie, he tanked the nuke same way he tanked the missiles fired at him.

Place a nuke in the same spot the explosion in sokovia started with all the tunnels and the artificial magnetic field and it would do much worse

@DammeFavour: K, I don't agree but how exactly is Doomsday more durable than Uru, lets continue that

Avatar image for DammeFavour

@_kingoflatveria: lol....OK how durable is uru and when did it start existing in the MCU? Doomsday is a lot more durable because he tanked a nuke

@_kingoflatveria: no it isn't. Thor's hammer is made of uru in the comics, uru has never been mentioned in the mcu. When has his hammer tanked heat close to 1 million degrees. And that heart of a dying star is definitely not literal seeing as asgard doesn't even have space faring ships to save their lives

Avatar image for _kingoflatveria
#35 Posted by _KingofLatveria (16980 posts) - - Show Bio

@DammeFavour: Heat? Enough heat to disintegrate that giant chunk of rock that is Sokovia which is a lot more output than a nuke. I cannot believe I'm having this discussion lol

A nuke does not maintain the heat it produces for the whole duration it occurs for a split second

Avatar image for DammeFavour
#36 Posted by DammeFavour (7696 posts) - - Show Bio

@_kingoflatveria: do you not read? Placing the nuke in the centre where the explosion started supported by the fact that the landmass is held together by an artificial magnetic field and the fact that there's tunnels connecting the core to the thruster thingies. Just placing a nuke at the surface won't do it, and that wasn't what happened in sokovia

What does the latter half of this have to do with whether or not it was forged in the heart of a dying star?

@DammeFavour: You asked how they would travel to a star and I answered. It has shown the ability to transport the Asgardians anywhere to and from Asgard, so there's no reason to believe they couldn't reach inside a star.

@DammeFavour: Magic? Advanced Science? Considering their accomplishments like instantaneous travel between worlds, people who are nigh-omniscient, magic like powers, etc it's not really a stretch. We know for a fact that it happened. We just don't know the details.
