100% on rotten tomatoes right now. Good reviews all around.
Thor Ragnarok Reviews are out
I was actually surprised by the scores when I actually read the reviews. Still pretty hype though, but just a tad bit worries
Got turned off when one of my go to reviewers said this Thor was pretty much the Thor from the Joke sketeches of him living with some random roomate
DCEU movies' early reviews being good: Comicvine users say reviewers are biased fans and thus not reliable/objective...
MCU movies' early reviews being good: Comicvine users cry awesome sauce! Going to stomp other movies in quality for sure.
@tsciallsolle3451: all about the track record. But yeah I kind of agree with you.

These movies usually get solid reviews right after they come out... but still, this is definitely a good sign.

Not the kind of movie I was looking for. Looks like it's another Age of Ultron. But I didn't have high hopes in the first place. I'll watch it though. I've got everything planned. I mostly take reviews with a grain of salt but after reading some of the reviews, I'm pretty sure they've ruined Ragnarok as a story. There would be no consequences whatsoever. They've just made if funny and happy so that it offends none. Considering my whole family consists of superhero movie addicts, it's good that they make movies like this. I can take my whole family out to the theatre.

So, mission accomplished then?

awww, here ya go, its okayyyyy
@adamtrmm: Yesssss!! After CA:TWS, I've seen every subsequent MCU flicks at least once with my family.
@tsciallsolle3451: Well it's not all CV users it's the DCEU fans that say they're paid off or biased. And most of them don't know how RT works.
IMDB is what you trust. It is where regular people who love movies have a voice. Rotten Tomatoes is more for critics, but the 100% ratings means that everyone who gave review though the movie was good not that they rated it 10/10. Rotten tomatoes seems to be unfair with their critiques sometimes as well. Some of them sound like they don't know what they're saying as well.
@amcu: John Campea isn't the most reliable person
@righteous300: I often disagree with him myself. I might not agree with what he said about Ragnarok once I see it but I doubt he is lying. I'm not saying he is necessarily right, I just thought I would mention not everyone is saying that the film is just fun and funny.
You never have to wait more than five minutes for a joke or well-placed wisecrack. Anytime there's a danger of someone giving a cliched, worthy speech about power and responsibility there's a one liner delivered like a slap to the back of the head.
this isn't exactly inspiring
I'm worried this will be a comedy that won't be very good for repeat viewings
Same DCEU fanboys/MCU detractors.
Great.
or realistic comic fans that don't want another Iron Man 3, which was a hit for critics and made a ton of money, but how many comic fans actually like it?

It's actually early reactions that people say that about early reviews are generally not seen that way.

Great.
3rd Thor movie full of quips & wisecracks in a universe of quips & wisecracks and the morons are STILL expecting something different, lol.

preach
@revan2424: the fact that the most praised thing about Ragnarok(the death of the gods) is how comedic it is
the fact that the basis of World War Hulk apparently doesn't go 5 minutes without a joke
I dont trust or give shit about critics. They didnt like first Thor movie which i loved so ill watch it to judge. But i think it will be great with all those trailers etc.

I always look at critics, but it never affects me to not watch those movies. Forexample they didnt like first Thor movie, but personally i like it more than lets say first Iron man etc. Its just matter of preference i guess. After all critics is literaly opinion of about 300 people who claim to be movie experts which is not right in shit ton of cases.
@mrnoital: @revan2424: it sounds stupid already. The goddess of DEATH has invaded Asgard and they turn the movie into a comedy instead of an action movie. Also apparently they’ve done a really poor Ragnarok adaptation and don’t even focus on Asgard a lot. I’m still seeing it though lmao.

as someone who's read the spoilers for this, saying that this lives up to the title as far as stakes go is pretty correct
