i like it. it has a nice natural flow to it. but can the camera guy take a step back. its weird seeing hands moving and parts of heads. but all in all definetly like it.
Good format.
Constructive criticism: I would say address the camera before hand to say "Hey guys, here's the news" it just seems like a forced conversation between two people who don't know a camera is filming them. No one even looks at the camera so it feels real awkward and scripted. SOMEONE LOOK AT ME AND SAY "HI VIEWERS" other wise it's just creepy. :(

I liked the new format guys it has a nice flow. Shame you can't shoot it from other side of desk for the vintage newsroom look though. All you will need then are some blazers and fake moustaches
I thought the format was a lot of fun. Very relaxed and casual--not unlike talking about comic news at my LCS! Very cool and I cant wait to see you guys play with this format more.
I did have one complaint though. For some reason your heads kept getting cut out in some of the shots while you were speaking and it made it a bit distracting.
Otherwise, great job!
Norm didn't say one bad thing about the Batman film, and to review or discuss things one must have a unbiased approach, his was not at all.
So long as the news keeps going I don't mind the format.
I really like this format please keep it guys. Also how come in the article dealing with the comic stories that The Dark Knight Rises drew inspiration from how come you didn't mention The Dark Knight Returns since it dealt with Bruce being retired and really rusty from not being Batman but then having to become Batman once again.
After watching this, I realized that there should be one 45-60 min long video once a week combining all the current weekly videos and turn it into a late night talk show format and you can also have a guest from the comic book world to interview in each episode. It'd be awesome.
i contributed to the Dark Knight Rises...i wanted to watch it more than I did! but the shooting thing kinda discouraged me, still saw it twice, but i could've easily seen it more.

That would be awesome!
Its fine, just like what Giantbomb does so if people visit that site then they are used to that style. As long as you guys cover the news topics and this way probably cuts down on editing time, its all ok with me.
I know what it means. Nearly and impossible sexy hour.@Outside_85 said:
So both of your favorites feature almost women who are almost naked when in their outfits...hmm :)
I don't even know what this sentence means.
I like the idea that you are willing to try new methods to deliver the news. This was good, but it definitely felt scripted and a bit uncomfortable. What about a knockoff of SNL's "Weekend Update"?
I prefer the old format. The camera angles were a bit distracting and the volume wasn't fantastic. I think this informal way of shooting the news doesn't work and could make the podcast redundant which I really enjoy. I like the news as it is.
Oh and did they smooch at the end. I heard what sounded like a kissing noise but it was probably something else.
Love having the G-Man involved with the CV News, but it would be great if we could see both of you either in a different setting where we could see both of you simultaneously or perhaps done in the style of the previous CV News formats with Babs standing, showing pics and clips, but with G-Man as well. Just a thought. I like the "chat" feel to the video, but like others point out, having your heads and faces cut off and the panning back and forth was a bit distracting.
Is this permanent or just a "test drive"?

Love this format. Though, to be honest, it felt a bit awkward, but I'm not sure if it was because it was your first time doing the news this way or what.
I really liked it, reminds me of GB's I love Monday's which are great because of how relaxed they are. I think this gives you guys more time to be yourselves and feels more laid back than the old format
I like this format, but like everyone said it felt a little awkward. Kinda like you were trying to turn a script into a casual conversation. Try just no script and just talk about news and stuff.
Like the new format. G-Man and Babs always very good info and opinions. As for the camera, I think it always looks great when it's on Babs.
I like the conversational style more than the talking straight to the camera style. This was really good.
Not really sure why, but I'm not a fan of this new format. It's not as if you didn't talk about plenty of the stories in the week. You covered the main issues.
I saw DARK KNIGHT RISES in some special seating of my local theater that serves drinks. Only 21 and up are allowed there. The bar upstairs was serving specialty drinks named after the movie. There was the "Dark Knight", "Bane", "Selina Kyle", and "Talia". It was funny, before I read that menu card that they handed out to everyone before the movie. I wasn't even 100% sure Talia was going to be in this.
This is my first time hearing about the Gamespot podcast. Though, can't say I'm all that interested. I don't listen to many podcasts.
I liked the Catwoman article. I always enjoy it when she expresses herself in her editorials.

Yeah, I think that was my only dislike. I felt as if I was mostly looking at hands and not the people who were talking.
I feel like this girl is an android or something. No girl is that hot, and has a passion for comic books. They're either paying her an assload or holding her against her will
Definitely needs to be scripted -
Pacing was awful -
Camera man ... ugh ... I wouldn't mind a viral approach but the sitting around swiveling back in forth in chairs? really?
I honestly couldn't wait for the video to end.
Guess it was cost-effective though.
Loved it. It was fun and had a great flow to it. I didn't have a problem with the way it was done in the past but I think the chemistry between Sara and Tony is what makes this better, it's why I like the podcast so much. Keep doing it this way, and I'd imagine that doing it this way is easier than the other way anyways.
