I figured that there should be a thread to introduce people to new comics or to comics that may be old and might be a good read for people who are fans of certain characters.Or maybe to give people some incite to what comics they have read that aren't very good that others shouldn't read.So let's do it..what are you reading that others may find interesting or what have you read that is a must read for fans of comics?
Not speaking as a Fanboy, but dead ass serious. The writing was amazing. The action is hardly there, but the writing and the stories were absolutely phenomenal.

I read it already..I didn't think it was that great...but then again I more of an action than storyline guy.I'm not saying it was bad though.I think if I didn't like Emma though,I wouldn't have read it.
I like X-Force and the new Thor is amazing. It has humor and it is heavy on Donald Blake's story, which I love by the way. Then it also has the action. I like the artist as well.
If you never read this and you see this in your comic shop or for download by torrent or otherwise...Don't do it.This book is terrible.Jean Looks like crap in it...it's poorly drawn and poorly written.

See and i LOOOVE Emma but i was so hesitant about picking it up because i was afraid that there wouldn't be any action. But i was pleasantly surprised.

I love the art in the book.I mean there was action but it wasn't as action packed as I would have liked.Overall it's a must read I think.That is unless you absolutely hate Emma.I think anyone who reads X-men should pick it up.You can probably get the entire mini now for like 5 bucks.

I've got some big Sandman trade hangin' around somewhere, but I can never bring myself to sit and read it.
My recommendations:
Maus & Maus II - If you haven't read these you really should, they're incredible. Art Spiegelman chronicles his father's escape from Nazi Germany.
Johnny the Homicidal Maniac - Anti-heroism + slapstick + slasher flick = Jhonen Vasqez's finest work.
The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 2 #50 (491) - 'Doomed Affairs' - This is my favorite Spider-Man story, written by JMS and illustrated by JR Jr. Spidey and MJ are finally reunited after Mary Jane went to California to pursue her career. Also Cap' and DOOM!

R.I.P has it's rocky spots...kind of boring at times...but the boring moments lead to something.
Ghost Rider has been great this volume
Moon Knight has been awesome...a little weird but it's still good.
Final Crisis seems pretty random to me...I almost don't know what's going on at times...but I didn't finish reading Countdown so...maybe that's why.

This is what I mean.I almost have no idea what's going on.At least with SI..they give you the history and the background in almost every comic so you know what's going on even if your just jumping in.
I recently snagged all 50 issues of this wonder, and I have to say that there hasn't been a single disappointing issue. They've all been good....at least. It's quickly risen to the top of my favourite comic-books of all time, and I'm just on issue 13 or so. Good stuff. Did I mention that the art is fantastic?
