The Walking Dead theory: Who got in Negan's car? (spoilers for episode 8x14)

For those of you who don't know and don't mind spoilers, on last week's episode of The Walking Dead, Negan picked someone up off the side of the road. Scene below.

Only question is, who was it? Well, I think I know who.

Gregory.

I have two reasons for believing this. 1) Gregory is the only escapee from the Hilltop's prison who is still on the lamb. I think it's more than likely he'd go to the Sanctuary and attempt to get help from Negan after fleeing Maggie. 2) This would perfectly explain why Negan is being nice and rude to him at the same time. Obviously whoever Negan picked up is not an enemy, otherwise he wouldn't drive him. Obviously this is not a close friend, otherwise he wouldn't call him ugly. It's clearly someoen who Negan considers an ally but not a friend. That perfectly describes Gregory. As far as why he's so ugly, he's been running around in the woods for days, of course he doesn't look his sharpest.

But that's just my theory. What's yours?

Im thinking it may be Laura, Dwight is gonna get snitched on.

I guess that would explain why they're keeping the identity of the passenger in the dark; they want it to be a surprise that Negan knows the truth about Dwight. But I'm still sticking with my theory until we find out who it was.
