So months and months of speculating who gets to play as Cable finally ends. It has been confirmed that Thanos erm, I mean Josh Brolin will get to play as the time traveling hero in the upcoming Deadpool 2. Since the beginning, I have been hoping for Stephen Lang to play the part but hearing about this, I am definitely not complaining. This is gonna be a great movie based on everything we know so far and Josh Brolin's participation in the film adds more to that expectation.
It's quite rare in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to see an actor doing two roles. The only actor I could remember doing that would be Chris Evans who played as Human Torch in the Fantastic Four movie series and as Captain America in the on-going Avengers movies. It's different in this case though since the time gap between Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2 and Infinity War is quite small compared to the solid four year gap between Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Captain America: The First Avenger. This is really where you get to see how brilliant an actor is. Knowing Josh Brolin, he's gonna nail it hard.
The fuck, Fox! You can't play 2 characters in the same universe!! Josh Brolin was in Sicario and I was in Sabrina The Teenage Witch. pic.twitter.com/AQCRp1aWKg

Moving on, the villain for Deadpool 2 has also been announced recently. Actor Jack Kesy (The Strain and Shut In) has been casted for the film's villain. Chances are, he will be playing Tom Cassidy or also known as Black Tom Cassidy. A mutant who could channel biokinetic energy through wood to create blasts.
Black Tom is known to work with Cain Marko (Juggernaut) more than any other super-villain. Does this mean we would be seeing Juggernaut in the movie? Nothing has been said so far but we'll keep an eye out for it. If the duo gets to be the movie's villains, then that would be pretty amazing. I wonder how they'll portray Juggernaut here? Hopefully not a dumbass like the one from X-Men: The Last Stand. It was sort of a waste of a character. If was funny and all but it felt like they just threw him in there just because they can. Remembering how the first Deadpool movie maximized each and every single character in the film, I will never be worried.
That's gonna do it for today, we'll try to keep everyone posted on comic book movie updates and whatnot. :)
