What do you guys think??

Andrew and Tom are about the same I think both making they're own web shooters until Andrew got his eventual upgrade from Tony. Tobey was just a standard superhero and while it was eluded to he was smart we never saw it.
I think holland is. Created his own web fluid and web shooters, showed combat smarts coming up with the strategy to beat giant man, and even when he countered the gravity gun (I thought it was semi clever)
Tobey was implied to be smart, but we don't really see it. And in fights he just punches people without a strategy
Garfield made his web shooters, but needed Gwen and a YouTube video before figuring out how to counter electro. Also, he could have saved Gwen if he would have dropped down with her after he caught her initially with his web line
Tobey was realistically smart. Like an actual top of the class student, not a comic book tech genius.

Holland, Garfield, Tobey
That pic in the OP is awesome.
Is it though?
Holland's created both his web shooters and fluid but I don't remember his shooters being as versatile as Garfield's.
@primez0ne: Thanks dude
Holland, he actually created the web fluid and shooters, something not even Andrew could do, lul he had to buy it from Oscorp.
I'm pretty sure it was Andrew Garfield. Didn't he master that Oscorp genetic engineering formula which none of the Oscorp scientists understood? Meanwhile Holland can't do anything without Tony Stark's (or Ned's) help, and Toby was completely useless.
Tobey was exceptionally smart in regards to normal levels, acing his classes when taking them seriously and such. Andrew wrote a formula off the top of his head that even Curt Connors wasn't able to create after years of studies (and Andrew's Curt turned himself into a Lizard unlike Tobey's). I don't remember much from Tom's except that he creates his own tech and web shooters.
@blackspidey2099: pretty sure Garfield used his fathers formula in the scene with connors

I remember he showed Connors his father's formula when he visited the Doc at his home, but after he got the Oscorp Internship didn't he solve their genetic engineering problem there by himself? It's been a couple years since I watched it last, LOL. If not, then I guess Holland wins by default.
@blackspidey2099: all he did was use the formula and the computer ran a few sims before it magically working. Pete didn't solve it

Well, then probably Holland. It really sucks that all these cinematic Spider-Men have been so stupid though. 616 Pete would be disappointed.
@blackspidey2099: yeah they all have been pretty non remarkable in terms of smarts. But I think toms version is able to rebuild computers from scrap, so he has potential.

That's not too impressive lol... I've seen people do that in real life (and I've done it myself). In Civil War, though, Tom's Peter was really cool - he figured out what was going on with his superhuman senses and created a solution, invented web fluid and webshooters, and was even a good enough strategist to take out Giant Man. It was only in Homecoming that he became so disappointing... and since Watts is doing Homecoming 2, I don't think he'll really improve significantly. :(
@blackspidey2099: well I brought up the computers because it's something unique to toms version, and further exemplifies his genius.
And if he doesn't significantly improve as Spider-Man I will not bother watching anymore mcu spiderman movies or Jon watts movies in general

Yeah, I agree on both points. I'm pretty sure he will be good in Infinity War though, since the Russo Brothers showed they have a good handling on Peter in Civil War. It's only Homecoming 2 (and beyond) which worry me...
@tonymartial: he was so naive at the time.
Holland just got spoon fed with resources and tech being Iron Man Jr and all. Smartness doesnt just equate to book smarts. Tobey is a quick thinker and more battle wise than the rest and was praised by Dr. Conners and Doc Ock who built a mini sun. He saw an error in Doc Ock's calculations as well. Not to mention he's older than the rest and goes through college classes which contains more advanced material. Raimi just didnt focus on that comic book genius level intellect bs.
@supermanfan1938: what does being older or going to college classes have to do with anything?
Technical: Andrew Garfield
Maturity, "Passive Awareness" and Experience: Tobey Maguire
Informative: Tom Holland
@supermanfan1938: Tom is literally already familiar with quantum physics and Andrew was already ahead of older people when it came to his understandings of genetics. Neither Age or experience are relevant when both Tom and Andrews characters clearly were already on a level or even above college students
