The Rock's Just Announced That DCEU Had Delayed Its 2022 Movies

The Rock's just announced on Instagram that DCEU has postponed its movies' release dates.

Here are the updated release dates:

• “DC League of Super-Pets” July 29, 2022.
• “Black Adam,” October 21, 2022.
• “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” December 12, 2022.
• “Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom,” March 17, 2023.
• “The Flash,” June 23, 2023.

Its unfortunate that they made shazam go against avatar. Its basically suicide doing so.

They obviously moved to avoid the Disney movies

Tbh the only movie I was actually looking forwarded to on the slate was Black Adam. So as disappointing as that moving is, I'm not greatly saddened. Plus, more time to polish the CGI

Ugh, this news blows. But if it means more time to touch up things and make them look better, it’s for the best I suppose

Makes sense they moved Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Competing against Avatar 2 would've been incredibly risky.

But they replaced it with Shazam 2, so once again, Shazam is the sacrificial lamb. the first one was sandwiched between two huge MCU movies

God damn it Warner Bros! When will they ever learn?

Or even pushed it up a few weeks to the week of Thanksgiving; which, to my surprise, doesn't appear to have any major competition except the next Disney animated movie.

Great. Its not like we've waited long enough to watch more films from the DCEU. Last one was The Suicide Squad which was last August. Now Black Adam is in October. Good job to whoever is in charge of these releases.

Actually they should release Black Adam next year Christmas, and just release 1 DCEU film every year from then on, and at the start of each year just tell fans that the movie is already completed and they just want to f*** with us. That would be great, thanks :)

So Batgirl must be fall 2023

People forget Jumanji against Last Jedi or Sherlock Holmes against Avatar in 2009.

With Batman already released, I honestly couldn't care any less about future DC live action films, lmao. They all look like incredibly unpromising (for now) anyway.

Watching Black Adam, Shazam and maybe Thor and thats it so it's like whatever

Should have made some of these movies come out against Thor 4, since there's no trailer yet despite not being Spiderman 3 levels of hype means it will get postponed or it just sucks so much they won't even lose morr money marketing it.
