EDIT: Though I'd probably have to disagree with the Iron man section, a lot of the scans there are out of context, don't factor in Tony's variable power, or don't really show anything beyond simple comic book things, and there is enough consistent and directly countering evidence to show that Tony is meant to be a pretty and increasingly fast character, unlike thor.

Then again, this is a bait thread, and a top-notch one at that.

Spider-Man is portrayed as faster than pretty much anyone and is pretty fast himself so I wouldn't say he's a good example. Iron Man has easily reacted to him before (not to mention Spidey has superhuman agility and precognition). This thread is filled with old scans and about 20% of them being during more recent years.

By speed feats from Iron Man's own runs he'd be at least somewhere casually in the microsecond range. This is honestly just a hate thread in response a thread I posted to my profile a bit ago. I don't even see how Thor's speed is overrated when everyone already calls him slow LMAO

Thor's speed will go up a notch if it's required for him and the fact that he acts like a brick sometimes doesn't help.

This thread is honestly kind of funny though since stuff like getting hit by Captain America is supposed to show slow speed. More reasonable people could and have made a better case then this guy.

Noone will probably explain Iron Man's speed in more detail.

Do you think those fodder ninja have reactions and combat speed better than microsecond level?

Have those fodder ninjas fought someone like Captain America to say they're around his speed? Ninjas are usually portrayed as fast and these are high-tech ninjas in particular. What's fodder to Iron Man is sometimes lethal to a street leveler. As far as I know the ninja's only feat were fighting Tony. I'm pretty sure he's reacted to explosions and visually broke the sound barrier nearly everytime he moves in this same run.

Butthurt much? I blocked some users because all they did is occasionally come and bait. Like I said based off of the speed Iron Man showed in that run the ninjas were probably supersonic. I felt like BlackSpidey was a brick wall because we couldn't agree on anything and I couldn't really understand their point of view when looking at the same scans so to me they were just repeating the exact same thing without making it any clearer.

Well, Miles Morales was easily taking them on when he fought Tomoe and the Biohack ninjas. In fact, he was basically blitzing them, even despite not having his webshooters anymore.

Both instances (the Iron Man one and the Miles Morales one) were written by the same writer (Bendis) as well, and he's also the guy who created the Biohack Ninja. As such, I think it's pretty clear intent on his part that the Biohack ninja were not microsecond level in terms of speed.

@blackspidey2099: microsecond was technically more for Extremis and Bleeding edge in particular, but as I said before Spider-Man is pretty fast himself. I think the ninjas were in the supersonic range.

Some of these showings put Tony's speed below the average human which goes to show the intent of the thread. If somebody did the same with the wanked Thing, a well-known slowpoke, I wonder how much crying would ensue.

WITB was... an interesting individual. Long story short, he grew to despise the Iron Man and Hulk fanbase and became so salty he would spam PM's showing walls of text including insults and wanking/lowballing characters.

No one actually overrates the speed of either.

This thread is petty, you're literally just listing every time they've been tagged and posting it as an anti-feat, which could be literally done with any character.

@takenstew22: Did they like Hyperion too or just Thor? I get Hulk but Iron Man sounds kind of weird to me. The most vocal people on CV would rarely back Iron Man against Thor so I don't see how a conflict could've happened there.

It's a thread made out of salt because I previously made of thread compilation of speed feats for my profile. Since I've seen some people act like they don't have speed feats at all. I never said they were consistently MFTL, just that they do have feats of that calibur(counting travel speed too).

I've never even mentioned MFTL speed in a debate which makes this pretty funny. It feels like all the salt started because I said I think Iron Man beats Thing and then later several accounts with only a few posts just started appearing to bait me(even this user was just recently created) with about two salty(non alt accounts I think) people that just can't let it go. I blocked most of them because all they want to do is start drama like this(which is against the rules anyway).

I mean they sound like they kind of have a point but still. They need to pray to Spider-Man for forgiveness lmao BTW I'd actually agree with what this thread is doing if it weren't all about the "they got hit so they're slow" logic. Iron Man and Thor aren't consistently MFTL(Thor himself isn't even consistently fast). This thread is just super salty to me. Weirdly enough I bet if this were Hulk or Thing getting treated like this CV would have an outrage.
