The Lord of the Rings Trilogy or The Dark Knight Trilogy- which do you prefer?

Lord of the Rings. All three of them are at the same level of The Dark Knight. In Return of the King's case, it might be slightly above The Dark Knight.

This is 3 masterpieces versus 1 masterpiece and 2 pretty good movies; in other words, this goes to Lord of the Rings.

I'm gonna go with the best movie trilogy of all time. :>

I love the batman trilogy but all of the LOTR movies are better than the entire Dark Knight trilogy. LOTR is by far the best movie franchise of all time as far as I'm concerned.

I am not a fan of LOTR so TDK trilogy.

I'd vote TDK trilogy over most trilogies, but not the LOTR trilogy.

The Dark Knight for me. There were many points in the LOTR movies that dragged on. Granted they were alot longer in run time. But Batman movies had better lines and more memorable scenes.

Dark Knight: whole movie

Dark Knight Returns: any scene with Bane.

@ifdcruledtheworld: What about the scenes you mentioned did you enjoy? Also, you're going to have to be more specific for TDK.

This is unfair IMO. LotR is the best movie trilogy of all time and some of the best movies of all time. That is not really fair.

Never been able to get into LotR. Not my type of genre.

All of the Dark Knight movie is good.

Every scene with Bane is good too.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy stomps.

LOTR easily. I honestly prefer all of them to any of Nolan's Batmans and TDKR is well below every other movie here.

Even tho The Dark Knight is one of my fav movies ever, probably above any of the Lord of the Rings movies, the LotR trilogy is more consistently good than the DK trilogy.

Both TDKR and TDK were better than any of the three LOTR movies, TDKT has already won in my book.
