@plotweapon16255: cept that deal had jackshit to do with their decision to cancel Lucifer, and more so to deal with them not thinking the show is that profitable for them. I suggest you look at the actual tv ratings for lucifer by the time Fox cancelled it, they weren’t that good and were steadily dropping. Between that and it not being really owned by Fox, writing was on the wall for its cancellation
Same with the gifted.
Basically, the Disney deal had nothing to do with these shows’ cancellation, what caused these shows’ cancellation was the low viewership
No but the Disney acquisition in confluence with the new headline Marvel D+ shows seems to spell death for most non MCU Marvel shows. The Gifted's poor performance in ratings is the icing on the cake.
