The Boys- Awesome Show

Bad ass show. Hopefully in the 2nd season they have more Supe Vs Supe battles

I'm planning to start it on Monday. I've heard nothing but great things about it, so I'm excited.

Liked the comic, like the show.

I saw the first episode and loved it. My guess is this'll beat out Doom Patrol for my second favorite CB show after Legion. I haven't read the comic so I have no idea how it's going to go ( though I have a few guesses ).

The comic is still better but it’s amazing watching the finale right now haha.

On E04 at the moment. They've made a lot of changes to the comic but mostly for the better I'd say, sometimes Ennis can go a bit off the wall. Really good show with a high-production quality.

@foxerdes: it’s really good but try watching it as it’s own thing it really goes in a different direction.

I've only watched up to episode 4 atm. It has some rather major differences, but it's all handled well. I think anyone that liked the comic will probably like the show.

I don't think they will going by the actor playing him and IMO, it's an improvement. Always thought that twist was dumb.

This show is really well written and acted on all accounts. I was caught off guard by how good it was. I never read the comics, so I wasn't expecting much going in, and the trailers never impressed me, but I was wrong. And Homelander is one of the scariest villains I've seen on screen in a while.

Lot of changes from the source material. The first season was kinda mostly set up.

It was pretty good.

Binge watched 5 episodes today. This show might beat out Legion depending on the quality of the latter's third season. After I finish the series I'll be finishing Legion to see how they compare.

Yeah boyee I'm loving it. The latest R-rated team up shows (they've all been good btw) in order of my favs go: Doom Patrol > the Boys > Umbrella Academy > Titans

Loved the show. Vought corp was a great parallel to Disney owning everything. and even cities competing to have a Super in their city like cities fight for sports franchises in real life. like seeing Amazon stepping up their games with The Boys and Good Omens

2 episodes in... Not enjoying it too much. It's well produced, but the story is not that interesting. The character Billy Butcher has done a lot in these early episodes, but I still don't care about the character one bit. I'm still gonna continue because I care about Hughie's character.

This are my only bois.

Finished the show this morning, and yeah, it was awesome. I give it 8/10, very good.

@mrmonster: I've finished season 1 of the Boys and it's currently just a bit below Legion ( The Boys is a 9 while Legion is a 9.25 ). I'm watching through season 3 of Legion right now to see whether it will keep its spot.

Finished Legion. Legion maintained it's 9.25/10 rating and it would have been higher had it made some of David's actions halfway through the final season a bit more believable and addressed a few of the plot threads that were sidelined, Amy Haller still existing in Lenny's head space probably being the most prominent example. The Boys can potentially beat it out with future seasons though, so we'll have to see.

Great show. Really enjoyed it.

I got a bit bored after the first 3 episodes, but i'm gonna give it another go and a fair crack.

The Boys and Legion are one of the best series I've seen

I’d say the best superhero series season I have ever seen

Tried the first two episodes. Wanted to like it, but honestly disappointed. Homelander interests me but, unfortunately, not enough to make me want to continue.

I loved the show. So unexpectedly amazing.
