The Authority

Who are the Authority? Well, the Authority has had many members like alot of Comic Teams, but the most common members are the ones seen above,

1. Jenny Sparks/Quantuam (Not shown above)
2. Jack Hawksmoor
3. Midnighter
4. The Engineer
5. Apollo
6. The Doctor
7. Swift (The seventh Member of every group they didn't really need)

They are a group of protecters of not just earth, but other universes/etc. Unlike most "hero" teams, The Authority are very brutal and have actually been shown to strike fear into the people they protect. As much as they fuck up, they ARE good guys.

Jenny Sparks

Jenny is sort of like Electro but much, much, much more powerful. However, she has exactly 5 noteworthy feats.

The Engineer

The Engineer, has liquid metal blood and is basicially a mix of Cyborg & Green Lantern.

What I mean is, They don't hold back on the villains. Instead of Batman imprisoning the Joker, Midnighter rips his spine out. Instead of Superman locking up Lex Luthor, Apollo throws him into the sun.

They do have there screw ups though, I will admit..but they do go out of there way to save the world.

An interesting take on superheroism I suppose. Superman and Batman used to kill all the time, too.

@pr0metheus about the manhattan monster, I remember the book. That wasn't an arm, that was its genitals O_O and the thing before the bendis thing is a spawn of the manhattan sized thing (spunk). He and Grifter are both badass.
