Thanos vs Darkseid finally coming to death battle

Predictions? Hype? Although that it is pretty clear that thanos beats darkseid in their standard modern incarnations, I predict death battle will give darkseid the win. Their DC wank is pretty next level, and I don’t see it stopping here. And no doubt they’ll scale darkseid from death battle Superman, which makes him... better than infinite?

Regardless, I am excited to see the animation.

I can already guess some of the out of context feats they would use for Darkseid.

Way I see it, if they give Thanos the Gauntlet (which I'm assuming they will) he wins. Even if they try to balance it out by giving Darkseid the AL Equation.

As a Thanos fan , i tend to see Base Darkseid to be better than Base Thanos due to his Omega Beams tbh . But it will be exciting to see this video

I can easily see them having Darkseid’s Omega Beams erasing Thanos because “Thanos has no existence erasure resistance feats”.

Or because Darkseid has beaten Superman before and Screwattack views Superman as omnipotent.

@the_stegman: I'm assuming they'll use base characteristics for both. The IG is Thanos' most famous trinket, but it certainly isn't his standard equipment (which is what they usually go for)

Darkseid from like 2014 onward was pretty scary, especially with his showdown with an ALE amped Anti-monitor in Darkseid War, he's got some good showings both recent and in the past

Feat wise, Thanos smacks him silly. Then again these are the people who had Rogue beat Wonder Woman (then had the latter beat Thor somehow) and put Venom against Bane.

Surely nothing surprising will happen this time.

To be honest, the main reason i hate Thanos fans is that they take an instant to mention the IG and the HoTU, even if it is not a part of Thanos's standard gear. In fact, he only had either of those for less than 1% of his showings. And, he never kept them. On the otherh and, it would make sense to use Darkseid with the partial Anti-Life Equation, because that is not an item or a buff. It is in fact, just the knowledge that gives power.

There is a big difference between these both Deathbattles though.

The first was 1 of their very early videos where they lowballed Wondy and wanked Rouge to a ridiculous degree, in the second they mixed lowballing, wanking and weird ideas for Thor and Wondy very wildly and somehow managed to get the correct end-result with a lopsided argumentation.

So it wouldn't be impossibe that Thanos wins, but with a lopsided argumentation.

Wasn't it previously stated that Darkseid is actually weaker than Supes and that the only real danger he poses is his intelligence and cunning? I'm not fairly confident on this however and am not 100% sure so don't take my word for granted, regardless..Fight will go down exactly like Ultron v Sigma, except replace Ultron with Thanos and Sigma with Darkseid, and remove all cyborg / virus / robot parts of the fight. Atleast it should.

One thing Thanos fans shouldn't forget here is that ScrewAttack uses Pre-Crisis + Post Crisis+ Post Flashpoint versions of DC characters. With the GDS saga Darkseid has more than enough tools to win this.

But, they just might give the IG to Thanos and he will snap Darkseid away in that case.

In fact, i can imagine them fighting over the glove as a part of the scenario for the video. Thanos gets the glove and snaps.

@phillip33: Definitely. One of the craziest death battles yet. I do wish Thanos was more purple because he was pretty bluish in this one. Probably has something to do with the lighting.
