That's one of the best durability feats in the MCU/DCEU. I can use this feat for Thanos matchups since Thanos' punches were able to shatter Iron Man's suit.
A great feat, but Thanos teleported the pieces. I've heard people say they were moving at reentry level speeds lol.

tbf it debatable, if they were teleported why'd they be on fire?

I don't see how this is debatable? Don't you see pieces entering the space stone portal in this gif? They are of course on fire, extremely cold pieces entering titan's atmosphere. Also there is frictional force of course. Please stop saying "Debatable" to things that can be clearly seen.
@eredin12: That gif is different than the actual one Raj had. You can see the pieces and chunks going into a portal lol.

@factg: This one is showing how the scene was made, giving us more details, those are not portals but motion blur of them moving very fast, gif above gives more clarity, and is consistnet with what Russos said as well:
Co-director Joe Russo explains on the Avengers: Infinity War director’s commentary that Thanos “uses two stones there. He uses the Power Stone to destroy the moon. And then he uses the Space Stone to pull it so quickly to the surface of Titan.”
The actual gif in the movie says otherwise. It was portalled closer lol.
@eredin12: insane if true, but couldn’t it be the literal surface of the planet, where everyone was standing on
@factg: 1) It was already confirmed by Joe Russo. Co-director Joe Russo explains on the Avengers: Infinity War director’s commentary that Thanos “uses two stones there. He uses the Power Stone to destroy the moon. And then he uses the Space Stone to pull it so quickly to the surface of Titan.”
2) The meteorites were on fire which confirms that the meteors were thrown at high speeds
3) Then you have the video found by Rajj
4) Then you also have this
I don't know why you're still arguing that the pieces were teleported.
1) even if they were ported they were on fire so they were moving at re entry speeds no matter what
2) why do people fall for bait threads...

lol wat? That's not how it works at all. A thing in extremely frigid conditions is not going to be lit up when under normal temperature
friction LOL. Unless they're moving fast, friction is not gonna set them on fire.
Nice, sending him beneath surface can be pretty insane
"The surface of the planet, where we live, is called the crust—it's actually a very thin layer, just 70 kilometres deep. '.06.03.2018.
https://www.science.org.au/curious/earth-environment/earths-mantle-whats-going-deep-beneath-our-feet
except we know nothing of how deep titan's crust is
"Beneath the surface"
Lmfao the guy clearly means the ground where they're standing
Also is that guy even legit?
@eredin12: Thinking about it, this might be the best durability feat in the MCU after the 5000 megatons snap.
@baalhaddad: I'm pretty sure the commentary is from disney+ lol

The blue glow is from the telekinesis on the rocks, he's pulling them with telekinesis. As for everything else, I found the scene without cuts and here it is

Yeah pull it so quickly means teleporting too. I mean it can be clearly seen they are going into the portal.
He is saying " And then he uses the Space Stone to pull it so quickly to the surface of Titan.”
in this sentence "Pull" may mean "bring" too. Thanos using space stone to bring pieces to the Titan so quickly so he uses portals. It really doesn't make sense using the "teleportation" word in the sentence. it becomes something like this
" And then he uses the space stone to teleport to pieces to the surface of titan" Sentence becomes longer and still being a little bit meaningless. I'm pretty sure Russos didn't use that word consciously because it doesn't expaling portals.

You do know the space stone is used to teleport, right? He teleported those pieces as shown in one clip smh. They could've been burning up, but they still didn't come down from the moon itself.

Uh huh
@rajjarsalt: You literally see a blue portal open when the PG encloses on the moon lmao. And where are you finding those gifs from?
@factg: The space stone was also used for TK several times.
He used the space stone to stop Loki's hand in place. https://gfycat.com/obesebigheartedhectorsdolphin
He used the space stone to disable Flacon's wings. https://gfycat.com/failingimperturbableankolewatusi
He used the space stone to crush and throw aside Warmachine. https://gfycat.com/cleanobedientbubblefish
There are also times he used it in conjunction with the other stones like when he was torturing Nebula or when he pulled Dr. Strange towards himself.
@rajjarsalt: You literally see a blue portal open when the PG encloses on the moon lmao. And where are you finding those gifs from?
What portal? Space stone portals aren't bright blue, they're black. Blue is the color of the rocks as dragged by Space Stone telekinesis which is consistent with other telekinesis scenes as abdul showed above

We literally have WoG confirmation of what happened that scene... why is this being debated further?
He legit teleported them lol. I don't care anymore tbh.

Stop trying to bait, Raj. The rocks aren't blue, it was the SG energy that teleported them. And guess what? I'm not debating this anymore.

How are they not blue when you see hundreds of blue lights? If they were teleported, then they wouldn't be moving toward the moon. Teleportation involves going from one place to another without any motion.
As for this?
People do know that surface also means the ground right?
This is Comic Vine, don't expect too much from people on here.
This really doesn't seem like a portal in slow motion or frame-by-frame viewing. It seems like the bright light is the Space Stone drawing in the meteors via telekinesis.
You can see there, the frame before it cuts back to Thanos, that there are still rocks flying at Titan at a different angle and there's no real portal there.
This looks nothing like a Space Stone portal, just a bright light, which, again, could be indicating a telekinetic pull, which would be more consistent with the color scheme. On top of that, I don't remember Space Stone portals having a pulling effect like that. Even looking at the frames immediately after it cuts to Thanos, there doesn't seem to be a portal, Thanos is clearly pulling them, even the particles in the air are being pulled, and meteors are still coming down later on without a portal.
The rocks clearly disappear in the blue energy
I always thought Thanos teleported them in the planet's atmosphere and then pulled them down but to say they don't disappear is a joke tbh even slowed down amd you can see them vanish in the energy
@pepsimax5: the gravity was fucked up,the moon was smaller than Titan though. And the moon didn't seem that far. It was huge looking from the ground.
@pepsimax5: no problem
