thanos (MCU) or azula (Avatar) best villain
Thanos, his motives are more complex. Most important of all, he's not a whiny child.
Is Thanos really that popular? I would've thought everyone votes for Azula and am pretty surprised now because i don't even think that this would be fair at all.
Azula was far better than Thanos could even dream of.
Thanos. I thought Kuvira was a better villain than Azula tbh.
The wannabe Azula better than the originial? I like Kuvira but that is crazy.

Kuvira and Azula were markedly different. More different than similar in fact. And yes, I prefer Kuvira.
Azula was far better than Thanos could even dwas always obvious ream of.

They were different but it was always obvious that they tried to build their own Azula with different parameters. Everyone has different tastes but i found Kuvira way too inconsequent and not unique enough to play in the same league as Azula.

I completely disagree, but fair enough. In my opinion, she's arguably the only main villain in either series whose goals had real merit, and tactically I found her more impressive than anyone else.
Azula and it’s not close

Her goal had merit but Azula's goal had also merit from her own perspective and that was perfect portrayed, specifically in the end of the series and comics. Tactically was sKuvira not bad but the Mecha was just silly in my opinion, although to be fair that is a flaw of the series not hers. I like Kuvira truly a lot and would also put her above Thanos by the way but Azula was just in a different league in my opinion.

Ah, but nearly every villain's goal makes sense from their own perspective. And the mecha may have seemed like a silly concept, but in terms of execution and portrayal, I thought it turned out pretty well (and it was much better than the giant Avatar battle from book 2). We'll just agree to disagree though. I like Azula and I'd rather not look for flaws.
Actually, comparing these two character is an Apples and Oranges comparison. Azula is simply not to supposed to be really sympathetic or relatable, quite the opposite. This does not mean that she is not rich and interesting character, specially as the series goes on, but comparing her to Thanos is simply odd. It is more a matter of what kind of villain do you personally tend to prefer in fiction, only that really.
Not really sure If they are really comparable, plus Azula has had waaaay more screen time not really fair imo.
