Poll Thanos does this to DCEU Wonder Woman what happens? (47 votes)
Wonder Woman can’t “fly“ or prep for the fall in anyway and rag dolls all the way down can she tank the damage?

Dies. Soul stone takes your life.
That's how it works.
She dies considering the soul stone takes her soul
Since when did Thanos use the soul stone in that scene? He kills Gamora to gain the soul stone allegiance.
She lands on her feet.
This. Like nothing.
The Soul Stone wouldn’t appear because Thanos doesn’t love Diana, unless we’re going under the assumption that Diana also had the same relationship with Thanos. Otherwise, Diana either lands on her feet or is slightly dazed at worst if she doesn’t get her feet under her when she hits the bottom.
Why is everybody talking about the soul stone? The whole purpose of that fall is for the person to die so the other person can retrieve the stone. Soul for a soul. Except this wouldn't kill Diana. This wouldn't even hurt Wonder Woman in the slightest. She no-sells.

that would work no matter your durability. unless you don't love the person. That fall is soul sucking
Dies, if the soul stone takes her soul.
No-sells, if we are only talking about surviving the fall.
@psi-bite234: @chazzer: Lol WTFFF. No she does not.
Dudes the soul stone requires a sacrifice of someone you love. Pushing them off the cliff is just they way you kill them in this scenario. If they don’t die than nothing has been sacrificed

Thanos doesn't love her so she no sells
lol
I assumed that the cliff was just another way of killing people. If Thanos had snapped her neck, he probably would have gotten the soul stone.
Correct me if i'm wrong but in order to receive the soul stone you have to sacrifice someone you love right? Even if we pretend that was the case in this scenario Thanos pushing her off the cliff isn't going to kill Diana. She could climb back up and have Thanos push her off over and over and she would always no-sell the fall.
A fall from that height shouldn’t kill Gamora, it’s the stone. Meaning Diana is dead as well.
Any proof of either of those claims?
OT: Diana lands on her feet. I'm not quite sure where people are getting this "the stone auto claims your life" headcanon. Pretty sure Natasha and Clint actively had to die in order to retrieve it in Endgame. So obviously the fall killed Gamora, and it's also clear you have to die to retrieve it, and Thanos couldn't kill Wonder Woman even with his full retinue of gear, so a fall definitely isn't taking her out. Of course all this ignoring the whole "it has be someone you love" nonsense as a premise, otherwise it wouldn't work at all obviously.
The fall isn't what kills you, it's the special properties of the sacrifice. Assuming Thanos loves her, she dies.
Gotta love the head-cannon in here, no the cliff isn't some magic property it's a convenient spot for people to easily kill their loved one, unless you can prove their's something else to this cliff, it's just a cliff.
OT: No she doesn't die.
I don't get why people are voting that she dies, like many people already made clear the cliff doesn't have any magic properties or whatsoever, it's just a convenience spot to kill someone you love
OT: diana no sells, climbs back up just to chop Thanos head off

OT: No she doesn't die.
It's proven by both Widow and Gamora having feats to survive the fall.
Umm nothing happens.
There is nothing special or mystical about falling off a cliff.
It is literally just a cliff.

I'm sorry I meant "No"
@bayman007: She struggled against Steppenwolf...Thanos stomps her easily

But they do. Both Guardians movies and getting smacked by Hulk and surviving a point blank grenade with just a human shield both say hello.
