This title is very misleading

“I heard that a pitch has happened for [another “Thor” film],” Thompson said. “I don’t know how real that intel is, but I hear that the pitch has happened. I think the idea is Taika [Waititi, who directed ‘Ragnarok’] would come back.”

She even said she isn't sure how reliable that Intel is.

There have been rumors and Even Hemsworth stated he'd do Thor forever ..If true awesome he's becoming the go to guy in Marvel.

True or not, I'd really rather he didn't. I think we're (I am at least) still waiting on Thor's true epic and Waititi isn't the one to give it to us.

Taika gave us the best Thor and the best MCU movie (arguably) So many Debby downers here

Thor Ragnarok is my favorite, and I love Taika BUT I'd be nervous about him doing another Thor movie. I felt like he took some liberties with stuff already established in the MCU. The Dr Strange scenes in particular.

I feel like Thor 4 is years off if it happens and I doubt it will.

I'd rather the Russo's do Thor 4. I enjoyed Ragnarok but I do like the idea of a slightly less humorous, more serious tone for Thor and the Russo's have handled Thor a lot better than anyone else did.

I’m fine with that if it isnt like Thor 3. The movie was good but it ruined the character.

The adjustment they did in Ragnarok saved the character. Thor was among the worst treated cb characters the last decade, the first two movies followed that direction rigorously and they were DC's best movies level, which is bad for MCU standards.

I hope they continue with Taika. I really don't understand Thor's fanboys. They complain about the way Marvel comics treat him, they complain about MCU Thor, what the hell do you want?

Tbh, I don't get why people hate how Waititi handled Thor. I understand that some scenes were not meant to be funny but I really hate people who don't want a comedic Thor movie.

Btw, I'm hoping this was true and I'm looking forward to watching the movie if it happens.

Not everything has to match the comics and Ragnarok was an actioned pack mini-event film. While I’d wish he didn’t destroy Asgard there is still plenty left for Thor to do to close his arc

Great! No one expects Thor to die in Endgame anyway, he and the Asgardians deserve a better ending; his story cannot end in Endgame, he deserves one more solo film where he builds a new Asgard where he will finally rule as king, where he and the remaining Asgardians can repopulate and continue as a race,
