Superior Villian Performance, Heath Ledger's Joker or Anthony Hopkins Hannibal Lecter?
Ben Affleck as Daredevil destroys these two.
As good as Affleck was, Favreau's nuanced performance as Foggy Nelson stole the film out from under him.
@rogueshadow: Well that's a league of its own.
If we talk about performances like those then I'd say....well I cannot think of anyone of that level.
I guess Tony Stank as RDJ comes close.
They're both pretty much perfect performances for their respective characters. However, Heath had to put a lot more effort into his performance. I mean, Hopkins is on record saying that Lecter wasn't difficult for him to play at all.
@echostarlord117: How he was doing a Tom Waits impersonation?
@hyiena: Lol The voice is where the similarities begin and end. I guess both Waits and the Joker have tense shoulders, too? Aside from that, they're not similar at all.
Again, Hopkins considers Lecter to be one of his easier roles
whereas this is what Heath went through in order to get into his character.
