tbh I wasn't looking for SS2 until they announce James Gunn is the director
OT: Thor for both. but SS2 will be more interesting
@ready_4_madness: He has one of the richest mythos of all superheroes, I would be disappointed if a lot of it remain unexplored. I still want to see Thor battle Ulik ans Mangog.
@ready_4_madness: I can understand, I don't like the MCU Thor himself (Chris Hemsworth is an ok actor at best) but I want to see Ulik, Mangog and Beta Ray Bill in the MCU.
Probably Suicide Squad.
I didn't like the first SS movie and I didn't really like Thor Ragnarok either (though SS is the one I consider a bad movie, my dislike of Thor 3 is personal preference). However, between those two movies, the MCU has no reason to change anything about what it's doing with Thor, while WB seems to have learned its lesson about its overmeddling in SS, BvS, and JL and has reasons to do things differently with the new SS. Thor 4 isn't likely to change or fix any of the problems I had with Thor 3 and parts of Endgame, while James Gunn's Suicide Squad is likely to fix the problems I had with the first one.
It's a coin flip whether either movie will be good or bad in the end but I have more reasons to anticipate Suicide Squad. If nothing else, it at least seems like it won't have the Jared Leto Joker in it again, whom was a big problem for me in the first one.
MCU for both.
However I'm just wondering won't working for the DCEU void any contracts for Taika Waititi? MCU mustve had him sign a document or something not allowing him to work for DC right?
Maybe his contract only says he's not allowed to direct for a DC movie. Doesn't say anything about starring or making a cameo in one.
