Who has it?..
I don't know if this counts but I say dormmamu's emo side..
STUPIDEST WEAKNESS EVER?!
hmm...
the aliens in the movie 'signs'...
what kind of tards invade a planet that is mostly water? what if it were to rain?
damn

you mean wood was his weakness?...what the hell..I didn't know that haha what the..I guess being the protectors of the universe the lanterns must have a weakness even if it is something so cheesy as that..
I'd say Alan Scott's (the original Green Lantern) rings impotence regarding wood. That might have made sense to someone when he first appeared in the 1940's but it's always been a stupid weakness.
Marvel's Gladiator got weak if he didn't have faith in his powers didn't he? how could you test your powers out??
Martian Manhunter's weakness to fire is pretty lame when you think about it. The guy has most of Superman's powers, plus shape shifting, Invisibility, phasing, AND Telepathy! He should be freakin' unstoppable, BUT if he sees a match he quivers in fear and is totally helpless!! One look at Firestorm across the damn street would put him into a coma!
It's usually explained that the rocks only became radioactive when Krypton exploded (or, in the John Byrne version, shortly before that), but that still doesn't explain how its radiation can be so selectively dangerous.Kryptonite. It's a friggin rock of a planet that exploded. Why is Superman allergic to the planet he was born on? Even when he was raised on earth he should have died to an overexposure (I mean it's a whole goddang planet) of Kryptonite at birth.
@Risky said:Somewhere I read(don't remember where now) that this is because superpowered Kryptonians absorb radiation a lot faster than normal humans. This is why the effects of Kryptonite poisoning appear much later in humans. Don't know if it is true though.Kryptonite. It's a friggin rock of a planet that exploded. @Risky said:Well, it's not really selectively dangerous. Prolonged exposure has caused cancer. The concept has always struck me as "this is a piece of your homeworld which you had no superpowers on and thus the rock takes your powers away. And since it's irradiated it not only takes your powers but makes you weaker." Which is dumb but when it comes to comic book logic it makes sense, kinda' not really. It's usually explained that the rocks only became radioactive when Krypton exploded (or, in the John Byrne version, shortly before that), but that still doesn't explain how its radiation can be so selectively dangerous.Kryptonite. @Doctor Damn: Yeah I remember Lex had to amputate his hand 'cause of the Kryptonite ring he constantly wore. But you'd think Daxamites, for instance (as they were descended from Kryptonians) would at least be a little more immediately sensitive to Kryptonite than humans are. Unless I'm missing something there...
they made a joke about it in Justice League cartoon episode "Legends". We see Alan Scott-like character Green Guardsman, whose power ring doesn't work on aluminium.

I remember the episode and the Green Guardsman, but I didn't remember the aluminum weakness. Yes, that is riduculous.

"Gentlemen, you will be the vanguard of our invasion force as we conquer this alien world. Your mission will be to completely disable the defense of a planet that is more than 80% battery acid, where said acid routinely falls from the sky and is consumed in copious quantities by the natives, who are also largely composed of acid. You will be doing this stark naked. Don't worry, we'll be giving you a nerve gas weapon that has an effective range of nearly six inches and is possibly capable of incapacitating their diseased young. Any questions?"
David Dunn, real-life superhero from the movie Unbreakable was vulnerable to water too. And it had nothing to do with his powers.
The color yellow.yeah definitely the stupidest. I mean you could pee on them and they would be powerless to stop you.
Superman - Kryptonite
Martian Manhunter - Fire
Alan Scott - Wood
All Green Lanterns - The Color Yellow
Superman - Magic
Aquaman - Dry Land
Venom - Fire & Loud Noises
@JediXMan:I mean, sure, it makes sense for Cole; he is a living power battery. Electricity + water = bad. But it still sounds weird and is very annoying in the game.

I believe that was because when Achilles was dipped in the river styx by his mother she held him by the ankle, making it the only part of his body not touched by the river styx.I'd personally have to go with 'Achilles Heel'I mean, really? and it JUST so happens he gets shot in his HEEL? and dies? Who the fark shot that arrow, Hawkeye? Don't know, major league dumb.
I found the Green Lantern's weakness to yellow strange until heard about Parallax. I mean, every school bus in Coast City must have had been repainted

When kryptonite was first introduced it was irradiated with the radiation that killed the kryptonians. His powers were a part of kryptons natural physology. They had highly advanced gravity and evolved to be extrodinarilly durable etc. Hence why he could only leap tall buildings in a single bound like we can on a planet like the moon. They changed it to the ability fly but they kept the story. Their immune system was highly advanced but the radiation affected their biochemistry with fatal results.
Then when they changed Superman's powers to being the result of his body being able to process and harness solar energy I think they've explained it as the radiation in the kryptonite effects the biochemistry of kryptonians resulting in his body being un able to absorb the solar raidation.. after that it's just radiation killing him.

Yellow. I mean Parallax kinda makes sense of it but it's still silly. "You can't affect anything that is yellow." Laaaame. Mustard slips right through his force field. What about Rot Lop Fan the Green Lantern from a dark sector where he had no concept of yellow, green, lanterns or light. What's he gonna do?
YA Alan Scott still has that weakness....actually in one of the comics with the "nazi supervillians" ruled the world in the future, thats how alan scott was killed...they but a bomb inside a wooden box. The blast from the bomb didnt kill him but it was so low tech that he didnt even think to protect himself from the wooden shrapnel the box shot out during the explosion. So he pretty muich died from splinters
