Don't feel bad, I'm a sucker for the Amazon Princess, too. Red Sonja does look like Jason Voorhees, there.  I imagine she has offed just as many people as he has, if not more.

To be quite honest. I was ready for The Siege to be over about ten minutes after I heard of it. It has potential. I'll give it that, but I'm just concerned that this is just another year long 'event' that leads into yet another. So far, we know that this will last through April. Now, if this is just an exclamation point on what was started with Dark Reign. I'd be happy with that. You just can't have the villains taking over and switch things back suddenly. There has to be a progression. There has to be a reason why Osborn falls. Hopefully, this Siege story will explain it.

What's wrong with scary movies? They can be a lot of fun. My biggest problem is that most scary movies aren't very 'scary'. They are more now just gore-fests.

@FoxxFireArt: It doesn't help that they're mostly PG-13 rated now so the kids can buy a ticket and not have to try to sneak in.

I actually worked at a movie theater after high school. I already know that kids don't need to sneak into movies. Parents either try to get their kids into the movies or have no idea what the movies are about. I once had a mother try to get her teen daughters(12 or 13yo??) into the movie Summer of Sam, about the Son of Sam killer that struck in New York 1977. The movie even had an orgy scene. She didn't know what the movie was about and apparently didn't even look at the rating.

I even had parents try to talk me into letting their kids into R Rated movies without supervision. The biggest problems were with R rated comedies and certain horror movies.

The horror movies I'm talking about are these gore-fests like Saw, which are just sadistic wet dreams; and Final Destination, what are apparently filled with people who don't have enough sense not to walk blindly into a road while they talk and all bus/truck drivers have no breaks or horns. People equate gore with scary and that's not the case.

The first Jaws movie was a good scary movie, and you hardly even saw the shark. Even those eventually got silly.
