Spoilers Thor #6
I really don't want Thanos to go after the gems again. It's annoying to see all the character work he got over 20 years to be erased because of the MCU. It's just so pointless and unnecessary.
Are you talking about him not being a power hungry villain anymore?

Nah his talking about thanos not being a simp any more

Yes

I mean, I don't think "simp" Thanos is really that bad at all. In fact unlike most people I actually find his relationship with Death interesting.
@takenstew22: it is to me since just about every time he has conquered the universe it has been for death and he has gotten nothing in return and ever time he try’s to get away from her he seems to slip right back into his old ways, the character has kinda been in a loop for years

He kinda gave up on death after Infinity Gauntlet, besides a few outliers.

Agreed. Ever since he came back from the Cancer-verse he's reverted to the 70s incarnation of the character. It's very annoying
@takenstew22: expect king thanos and when he was with death, idk about the regulators
@takenstew22: mb I meant Hela
Imo I'd like to see them showing Thanos neg-diffing Sentry for the lulz
dude for what? by feats thanos does neg diff Sentry
its not like its a hot topic like thor vs hulk

sentry is kinda omnipotent tho
Oh, look. Black Winter ended up as a completely wasted new character just for us to go back to the overused Thanos again.
Fu#@ you, Cates.
As if Thanos coming back is a bad thing.
@takenstew22: I actually think so. He's saturated and overexposed at this point.
That's like complaining Doctor Doom or Magneto are overused.
@andromeda101: @takenstew22: I think its more about type of exposure than amount of exposure. Doom and Magneto can show up so much because they dont just occupy the “villain” role, similar to Thanos in the 90s. Now Thanos just has the same story every time he shows up.
@andromeda101: @kevd4wg: @takenstew22: Just read the comic. Thor killed Galactus using the entirety of the power cosmic, guy literally drained Galactus dry and killed the guy, also killed the Black Winter I think...
Anyway killing Galactus usually brings Abraxus but looks like we getting a cosmic tier retcon again.
What if Abraxus and Thanos came.
Wait what?? I'm so far behind
I need to speed read up to this I think , any info is welcomed over at the Thanos discussion thread
@firestarlord73194: not even remotely, Thor can’t create a multiverse and he’s currently weaker. In Thor 6 he used Galactus as a bomb using his own power cosmic against him to blow Galactus up and the black winter. Empyre has Thor after he used all of the power cosmic that’s why hulking sword could stop Mjolnir, otherwise it would’ve broke like Stormbreaker. So to recap after Thor used Galactus as a bomb he lost the cosmic amp or at least a large portion of it, when he absorbed all the power cosmic his whole body was glowing with energy and stuff then when he emptied it into Galactus to use as a bomb he went back to looking fairly normal, his hair is back to normal too like when he gave his power back to Galactus when he fought Beta Ray Bill so he should be depowered now to an extent. Still hella strong and has good energy absorption feats.
I don't read Thor comics so I'm confused as to what that panel is suppose to represent. To me it looks like Thanos is rolling up with an army of Marvel Zombies.
@rajjarsalt: characters that thanos stomps already do👀👀
@firstmanofsteel: I didn’t mean on FR’s level, I meant since FR and Galactus’ story are heavily intertwined does this mean FR will somehow be alerted to the death of Galactus and show up in the story?
@phisigmatau: @the_man_with_questions: There's a new Marvel Zombies mini but I doubt it is connected to this as that isbstill going on.
It can't be the old Marvel Zombies world as almost everyone is basically dead in the entire universe besides a few humans on Earth.
I think it is likely just an alternate future to 616 where heroes became zombies and not the actual Marvel Zombies world but IDK. A new version of MZ, I mean.
I think it is tied to the zombies thing
Cates said the next parts would be horror themed and the last panels were all abt Thor being traumatized
@phisigmatau: Yeah but I think it's a new version of MZ and not the pre-existing ones.
Also new theory: the black gauntlet on Thanos’ arm is actually the All Black/necrosword
That would actually be dope tbh. Gems + All Black would be OP.

I'm pretty sure that comic has been dead for several months.
If Marvel Wikia is to be believed, it will come out in September 22. I think it might be in hiatus or something.
Perhaps this mini was supposed to tie-in to Thor but since it was delayed, Thor came first before MZ was finished but I don't think such a connection has been said by Marvel.
Marvel.com says September 30:

Putting the Infinity Gems on the Guantlet was dumb. It’ll be a battle of worthiness. On one side you have Thor, Beta Ray Bill on the other side you have thanos.
But surprise, surprise it goes to the silver surfer instead. I kinda feel bad it means the people that have bonded with the an infinite stone are all going to die.
