Spoilers!!!! Captain marvel Feat Question

So I just watched movie and I was wondering about a possible feat toward the end of the movie. Was that Carol who launched the ship into lightspeed? The lightspeed engine was never built and the power source was... well... Carol. On top of that you see the same streak Carol leaves behind when the ship took off.

Also like to point out she did stop on a dime before she did launch the ship into light speed... if she she was the one to launch it.

I think it is. The Skrull general does a "wind up" motion with his hand and Carol nods at him. That seemed to indicate, at least to me, that he was telling Carol they were ready for her to jump them.

I think it is, we have to wait until the directors or a hd clip releases

doesnt look like she did anything - we see the engine blast an then the ship starts

but even if she did something - how does that help as a battle feat?

cant remember that she blitzed someone in a fight or used her speed at all in battle

Everyone does realize the Kree already have faster than light travel right

We saw very well how that system works on Guardians 2.

I honestly can't think of a reason they needed the light speed engine

At the time the Kree didn’t develop a light speed engine. That’s why Mar-Vell was working on one on Earth. She never finished it.

Guardians of the galaxy 2 happened 20 years after this.

Also she did blitz Kree soldiers holding Fury captive and Yon Roggs fighter when it was chasing Maria.

@lantian1: Actually, the Confederacy uses a form of teleportation to transport their ships, per AOS. In gaurdians of the galaxy, they use jump gates to access hyperspace.

Looking closer at the gif I saw a small glowing dot between the engines as well. It could possibly be her.

How is blitzing fighter going at Mach speeds not impressive? It doesn’t change the fact she is fully capable of bullrushing at light speeds.

I mean literally all she has to do is do what she did at the end of the movie... but with someone in front of her.

Travel speed. Basically warping akin to the bifrost.

Travel speed could easily be applied to blitzing or bullrushing which don’t require you make sharp turns.

She was definitely bullrushing in the movie. Bullrushing things moving at Mach speeds.

now we just need her to blitz actual enemies that can react at high speeds and we have a usable battle feat

I just watched the movie again. She’s clearly on the right of the ship.

Some very convincing arguments are being made here that make me think Carol is even more OP then i thought

If she's like any other MCU character she'll only grow in power with each film too.
