Jim Downing (Spawn) Respect Thread

Jim Downing was a scientist who was hired by Wynn to create the perfect soldier. He performed many tests on humans to find a way for Wynn to battle the forces of Heaven and Hell. He created beings like Overtkill, Tremor, and many more. Funded by the Mafia that Simmons took down so long ago, this man along with Wynn was close to unlocking the secret. However Hell came to collect on Wynn's promise, Simmons. Simmons was suppose to be the final subject for the experiment, only for Hell to come for Simmons themselves. So Downing instead did the final procedure on himself. In a coma forever, until finally waking up with Simmons death. When he awoke he was given the power of a crazy Angel that attempted to kill God, as well Simmons own K7-Leetha suit. this combined turned him into the quoted "Ultimate weapon in the Universe".

Strength

Downing wrecks a car.

Spawn matches a 100 toner, and both exchanging blows causes a skyscraper structure to collapse.

Downing throws the rubble of the collapse skyscraper off him.

Durability

Downing slams through all the floors of a skyscraper.

Downing brushes off a mansion leveling blast.

Downing gets punched across the city and is fine.

Downing then fights the 100 toner on equal ground till a building collapses on them. Downing is fine, the other guy was KOed.

Downing is thrown into a multi story apartment building that collapses on Spawn. This is after exchanging multiple punches with Omega Spawn. Jim Downing was never KOed, though was in bad shape fighting the Hell King being.

Speed

Spawn's chains are feat enough to block and deflect several automatic weapons at once.

Spawn states he is well above a speeding bullet.

K7-Leetha

K7-Leetha comes from the 7th House of K. Leetha has a psy link to Spawn himself.

Hellspawn suits are stated to eat souls for power, and to grow. Something that came to ahead in later Spawn comics with Downing.

Violator states the suit K7-Leetha is the greatest weapon ever conceived by the time Downing inherits the suit.

Violator states again that the suit K7-Leetha alone trumps the power of the Demons, Hell Kings, and Angels.

Malebolgia states the suit is staged at that moment to be the most powerful weapon in the universe.

Downing's suit shapes powerful claws to wound, or punch through foes.

Downing can sprout spikes all over his body to impale foes in close combat.

K7-Leetha kills a foe inside out after pouring into their mouth.

Downing generates chains to hold a Vampire in place.

Downing using the chains to spam a are cutting all foes into pieces.

Downing's chains whip out to choke a foe, and ragdoll him.

Jim downing using chains to incapacitate and rip apart the super powerful Demon Vampire Hybrids.

K7-Leetha easily cuts up, and throat slits Cogliostro who has decent Hellspawn spell knowledge, and immortal himself.

K7-Leetha's chains heavily damage Omega Spawn twice.

K7-Leetha's cape cuts Malebolgia in half.

The Black

Various claw attacks can be directed through the shadows.

Downing hides in the Black, and from out of the shadows sends out massive chain attacks to catch, and tie up foes. Spamming attacks through the Shadows free from physical attacks of any kind. Downing also sends out chains to drag a foe into the Black to be trapped.

Downing engulf a well lit room into the Black and kills everyone.

Downing hides in the shadows to spy on his friends conversation, and then surprises him.

Downing walks himself and another to different parts of the city through shadows.

Downing appears in the backseat of a moving car, and pulls Twitch out to another room through the shadows.

Downing and Violator shadow walk around the Earth to throw Malebolgia off their trail.

In the Black its stated time passes much more slowly than the material world. A whole comics worth of fighting followed by lengthy conversation lasting a eye blink.

Manifested Evil

Summons rodents and insects to devour a man.

Summons maggots to devour Vampires across a club.

Summons maggots to devour small squad of army soldiers, and this is when we find out this attack empowers Downing Suit more.

Summons maggots to corrode and devour Twitch's gun.

Summons maggots from inside people, eating from the inside out.

Tortures Tremor by summoning maggots to slowly eat him from inside out.

Summons the maggot to eat away from inside out Malebolgia, and devours Malebolgia power.

Summons maggot to fill a bus in seconds.

Summons enough maggots, snakes, and vermin to devour a bridge and soon portions of the city of New York.

Necro Healing

Heals multiple bullet wounds.

Downing brushes off a head shot.

Downing heals his head being nearly blown off.

Downing heals his chest ripped through from Malebolgia brutal attempt to kill him with transformation into his Angel form.

Holy Healing

Downing heals this Old man of his ailment, as well a Hospitable room filled with various injuries, and illnesses.

Heals a child born with massive mental disabilities, and unable to walk.

Downing's presence alone heals his friend's blindness.

Downing heals this homeless man hit by a bus.

Downing's healing abilities are so good, he even brings Twitch back from the dead after dropping him off a roof.

Heals Cogliostro back from the dead. A fellow supernatural being, and immortal.

Downing's ability to healing is not limited to illness, wounds, or death. It can heal even Genetic Super Soldiers of their powers. Downing heals Tremor of his genetic modification, biomechanical parts, and his demonic like ability.

Holy Attacks

Holy energy that exorcise possessions of others.

Downing using Holy blasts on the very powerful K7-Leetha.

Downing harms a nearly full power Malebolgia with Holy attacks that decimate a large building, as well caused damage throughout 6 city blocks. Blows off Malebolgia arm and leaves him weaken.

Flight

Downing learns of limited flight with the K7-Leetha.

Downing shows super speed, and control of flight in his Angel form.

Necro Powers

Blows a Vampire Demon Hybrid, one of Hell's elite, head to pieces with a blast from Downing's finger.

Area of effect blast around Downing to blow foes away from him.

Downing destroys the entire small military base with this Necro power.

Downing blasts powerful enough to harm Omega Spawn.

Teleport

Downing escapes Omega Spawn with the light speed necro base teleport that Al Simmons used as spawn.

Greenworld Downing

This version of Downing was recruited by the Greenworld, and uses power provided by them to carry out Gaia's will.

Power

Downing states when he awoke from his coma, he used the last of his Necroplasma powers up. However after joining Gaia side, he was granted energy powers that mimic Necroplasma.

Downing is stated by Spawn himself to still have a piece of Al Simmons total power buried within him.
