Most people seem to have no clue who Jim Downing is or what he can do. Here is a quick Respect Thread on him.
Jim Downing
Jim Downing was a scientist who was hired by Wynn to create the perfect soldier. He preformed many tests on humans to find a way for Wynn to battle the forces of Heaven and Hell. He created beings like Overtkill, Tremor, and many more. Funded by the Mafia that Simmons took down so long ago, this man along with Wynn was close to unlocking the secrete. However Hell came to collect on Wynn's promise, Simmons. Simmons was suppose to be the final subject for the experiment, only for Hell to come for Simmons themselves. So Downing instead did the final procedure on himself. In a coma forever, until finally waking up with Simmons death. When he awoke he was given the power of a crazy Angel that attempted to kill God, as well Simmons own K-7 Leetha suit. this combined turned him into the quoted "Ultimate weapon in the Universe". However this is a early Downing who still has mystery to his past, as well still trying to grasp his powers.
Quick History check :)
Strength and Durability.
As one would expect, Spawn is Strong and Durable.
1-2) His natural Durability is more than enough to smash through a entire sky scraper unharmed.
3) Thrown into a building so hard the Building crumbles. No issue.
4-6) Gets thrown across city, pounded by 100 toner, and then has a Sky Scraper fall on him. He is fine.
7-8) Tanks a Mansion blowing bomb from ground zero.
Speed.
Speed wise we can easily assume he is fast as Al. Downing has the same exact suit Al wore. As in it was Al's suit. That means the Suit Speed is Downings as well.
Examples of the Simmons Spawn using only the Suit that Downing has to move faster than humans can see.
Darkness Powers
Downing has a unique connection with the Darkness as the Universes most powerful weapon. He shown the ability to make direct attacks from it.
1-2) Various spike/claw attacks can be directed through the shadows.
3-5) Massive Chain attacks and Spamming through the Shadows.
6-9) Downing takes out a small military with massive shadows attacks.
Shadow Portation is a ability Downing uses as well. it allows for instant travel anywhere there is shadows.
Various feats of Shadow Portation around the world.
1) Uses the Darkness to envelope a well lit room, and kills everyone by somehow scaring them to death.
2-5) Downing snatches one of the Hell Elite Demon Vampires, and drags him into the Void, where he is then trapped.
The Void can also feed on any fears you may have.
1) Uses it to turn this mans fears into Rates to feed of off.
2) Kills all these men with the Fear alone.
Maggots
These are not mere maggots, but a vampire form of feeding by his suit itself.
1-2) Summons Maggots to devour a hand gun of all things.
3) Summons Maggots to devour Vampires across a club.
4) Summons Maggots to Devour small squad of army soldiers, and this is when we find out this attack empowers Downing Symbiot more.
5-7) Shows they can be summon inside people, eating from the inside out.
Downings Healing and Regen
Downing Healing applies to himself as well others. As a powerful Angel, his healing is second to none.
1) Downing heals head shot.
2) Downing heals his head blown apart.
3) Heals multiple bullet wounds.
1-3) Downing heals this Old man of his ailment, as well a Hospitable room filled with various injuries, and sicknesses.
4-5) Heals a child born with massive mental disabilities, and unable to walk.
6) Heals his friend with his presence of his blindness.
7-8) Heals this broken up badly man like new.
9-10) Brings Twitch back from the dead after dropping him off a roof.
This Healing is not limited to normal people either. It can heal even Genetic Super Soldiers of their powers.
Heals Tremor of his powers.
K7-Leetha (aka the Suit)
Now lets get into the Suit itself. K7-Leetha is its name, and it was design to be the most powerful weapon in the Universe by Malbolgia. It has a mind of its own, which Downing does not comprehend yet, as the suit itself is trying to control him instead the other way around. As such many of Simmons Spawn feats with the suit are pretty much the same here.
The Suit require no powers to use its Chains or Cape. Very effective tools btw.
The Suit's speed is incredibly fast.
1) Blocks machine gun fire with ease.
2) Faster than a bullet as stated.
3-4) The Cap outpaces a laser.
5) Travels so fast it can set the air on fire from the friction.
Its strength and durability is like wise insane.
1) Strength to Uproot tress and slam them around.
2) Durability to hold and bind the Dark God Urizen.
As to how well Downing uses the suits abilities, we can start with Chains. He can use the chains in several ways from binding ya, to stabbing ya, to ripping you apart. He can also Chain Spam these chains.
1) Binds Vampire.
2) Throws around a 100 toner around super soldier around.
3) Takes out a military squad by stabbing them.
4-6) Chain spams Hell Elite Demon Vampires and tortures them with the Chains.
7-8) Spams a night club with chains to kill the Vampires.
Downing's use of his cape is equally deadly.
1) Cuts Vampires down in club.
2) Cuts Malbolgia in half.
3) The Suit itself uses itself to suffocate/drown this human.
Downing can also use the suit itself to create Spikes or Claws.
1) Creates claw hands.
2) Creates a large claws through this Vampire.
3-4) Sprouts Spikes that killed this fire engulfed super soldier.
5) Sprouts Spikes that then travel out from nearby shadows.
6) Pins Malbolgia to the wall with Spikes.
Angel Form
Since Downing is in fact one of gods most powerful angels, its no surprise he can access this form for raw Holy power and goodness.
In this form he is very powerful, powerful enough to flat out and beat a near fully powered Malbolgia with ease. We see several things in this form. One, it can fly. Two it can negate beings like Malbolgia of his power, as well defy the powers negating Dead Zone. Three it can lay down very powerful Holy attacks. These Holy attacks decimate a large building, as well caused damage throughout 6 city blocks.
Flight
Downings can fly in both forms.
1) Angel form.
2) Spawn form.
Necro Powers
Like Simmons, Downing has access to the Necro Powers. Unlike Simmons, Downing using powers from the suit, and angel side is more than enough to win fights. His Necro powers is very limited, but he can use them. Unlike Simmons who easily fed of Evil, Sin, Darkness, ect for a steady 9999 supply, Downing so far has had trouble maintaining a 100 supply. Downing does roster it through the suits own feeding of of fears, and devouring things with the Maggots.
One of his Necro power usage is Necro Blasts.
1) Blows a Vampire Demon Hell Elite head to pieces with his finger.
2) Area Blast around Spawn.
3) Powerful enough to harm Omega Spawn.
4-5) Destroys the entire small military base with this power.
He can also use it to Teleport like Simmons can.
Escapes Omega Spawn with the Light Speed Necro Teleport.
