Wonder Woman has the perfect opportunity to introduce us to a black female superhero in the sequel with Nubia but what are we getting instead? Cheetah

Some people on Twitter are mad cause Wonder Woman sequel might introduce Cheetah and not Nubia (irrelevant character)
Whiny Black women SJWs
How do you know it's a Black woman? SJW's come in a wide variety.

Dude, I'm Black and I'd be more upset if they didn't go with Cheetah lol. I'm sure there aren't many people who agree with that tweet.

well yeah yeah sure. But its just one instance of an SJW being vocally moronic. Its not like the entire world became political correctness gone mad.
@iamverysmart1: no they got one movie and they think everything should represent them next they'll complain WW is white
It's just another day on Twitter it's turning into Tumblr it's a shitshow now
Minerva is obviously more well known (not so much to anyone outside of comicbook fandom) but that doesn't mean introducing Nubia is a bad idea. I do like how people calling for representation is automatically interpreted as SJW complaining though. As if being a fan of Nubia and wanting to see her in a live action movie is asking for way too much.
The reason for Nubia to appear in WW kinda went out the window the moment we got a black Artemis.

It's kinda a silly thing to start complaining about when Nubia has an extremely limited presence in WW these days and then start ragging down the possible appearance of one of her best known villains. Kinda like if people had complained about Onyx not appearing in the Dark Knight but the Joker did.
@outside_85: A limited amount of appearances could be even more reason why someone would cape for Nubia appearing in a movie. Hollywood could easily take the character and make a compelling movie with her as the primary antagonist if they so chose, and if done right could lead to a resurgence of the character in the comics. There were plenty of people who didn't want Vulture to be in MCU Spider-Man's first movie but it worked well enough despite the character's relative obscurity to a plethora of well known and much more imposing rogues gallery.
There's nothing wrong with wanting to see a character you like in a movie as opposed to one you don't really care for.
WHATS the problem? Someone on Twitter posted an opinion?

True... but I dont think we can say Vulture is that obscure compared to Nubia, she's had a handful of appearances throughout the last 30+ years, Vulture however still appears to get a beatdown once in a while. Plus there is a difference between appearing as a main villain and appearing as... I dont know what they were hoping for, a sidekick to Diana? (pretty sure if she did that atleast 2 other kinds of groups would get triggered.)

How dare someone posted an opinion on Twitter. Let's burn all the liberals!!
Lol DC is already getting Black Panther backlash. Are in this case BLACKlash.
They better fast track that Cyborg movie.
Nubia???
@heroup2112: saw on Twitter
Oh...well now I feel silly.
I never even heard of Nubia before. XD
Plus, Vixen is infinitely a better character once they introduce her, and she's more well known as well.
People on the internet will always find something to be mad about. FOH
this.
What is Nubia, Can someone post a pic?
But I figure people rather want the alternate universe versions where she is Wonder Woman and Barak Obama is Superman.
I read some WW vs Nubia way back in the day. The question I have is while diversity is the future, are we all ready to see Wonder Woman, a white woman beating up a black woman, Nubia, who is the villain? Does that help the cause or create more controversy?
Wow, I have no words. But it was expected after "success" Last Jedi and Black Panther was.
Just remember to throw an asian character too!
Silly, no one cares about Asians in Hollywood.
meh... just turn Cheetah into half-black, half-orange paraplegic, gender fluid, pink cyber eskimo or something and move on.
I mean its that not atypical for Hollywood to prioritize social justice pandering over the source material anyway.
Let's keep it real, outside of the gods, Cheetah is the only Wonder Woman villain that non comic book reader fans would even remotely know. It's no secret that Diana doesn't have a well known rouges gallery. Go with the no brainer.
