I finished reading Secret Empire for the third time, but I still don't get one thing:

how did "classic" Captian America came back ??

Is he Captian America's past self before he lost the super soldier serum ?

Is he a split personality of Hydra cap ?

Or is he Captian America from the Ultimate universe ?

And how can he survive while Hydra Cap exist ?

At this point I really wish cosmic cubes were completely eradicated from the MU multiverse in every shape and form. They've become a tiresome and terrible trope within Marvel's comics.

Then why does everyone on the internet calls him "classic Captian America" or "the REAL Captian America" ?

That's is so stupid, I'd rather Marvel pull a DC Rebirth instead of being forced to believe that some imaginary

friend is Captain America while the REAL one is STILL a Hydra agent.

Nick Spencer: "No, this isn't a gimmick! This is how Captain America is now!"

Also Nick Spencer: "This was just a gimmick! Captain America is the same as he always was! Now here's an overly dramatic narration!"

@mister_x_1: They mean "Real" as in that is how Cap is supposed to be and they refuse to call Stevile Rogers Captain America.

I actually think it took balls to take Marvel's greatest force for good above only Spider-Man, and commit to him actually being it's greatest evil.

I agree, and I loved Secret Empire it was Marvel's best story in years.

But why didn't the cosmic cube rewrote Roger's memory like it did in the first place ?

That would have been easier and give the writers a story that involves Rogers road to redemption

and becoming worthy of being called Captian America.

But this............I'm sorry, but this is just bizarre and stupid.

Any chance of Hydra Rogers and this Captain America merging together like New 52 Superman

and Pre new 52 Superman did in DC Rebirth ??

@mister_x_1: I don't think so. It's almost like Marvel is taking too many notes from the films and pitting heroes against evil versions of themselves some what.

In Deadpool Wade and Cable are hunting Strife.

Marvel introduced Weapon H so we know he's going up against Banner when he returns.

Thanos is evil already but next issue of his solo he may end up fighting himself. So... Yeah, wtf Marvel?!

I was sort of under the impression that the real Cap inside the Cosmic Cube fragment was the last sliver of his consciousness or the final fragment of him in Kobik's memory.

I actually really enjoyed Secret Empire.
