When I would try and access comicvine it would bring me to a webpage saying i was blocked for heavy traffic and i could have malicious intent?
Anyone know what this means? Or has this happened to anyone?

@ryokuma100: I sent one before it was fixed lol.
@the_new_avenger: Ya I did the same thing, wonder how many emails they got in that short time frame
dang i thought I was the only one XD. The ip ban didn't worry me the fact that it "abnormal traffic" made me think some neck beard hacker from 4chan got into my network.
Same.
Check bug thread, happened to me a few weeks ago while the staff was updating site. You were caught in a hiccup.
This has already been reported in the bug reporting forum and evidently the problem is much severe than what I originally thought.
I've tagged both the full time engineers that I know who work behind the scene with the problem.
Hopefully this does not happen to many people, fingers crossed =)
Same happened to me.....weird.
It happened to me too. And it's still happening. I'll have to stay away from CV for a while. It really bugs me, when there's a bug that's affecting the site. Or that someone is trying to cause traffic to go haywire. Who knows?
Posting comments are working fine. Other than that, I can't edit stuff on reviews and fan-fics for a while. I can edit, but it's just that I'm afraid to lose them whenever I edit it. The bug is still hidden in the site.
I'll wait until everything goes back to normal.
