So Comicvine is likely dead soon, so whats another good debate site?

Title says it all. I hate Reddit for its bland nature, and Space Battles since they are elitist and calc driven debaters. Also hate force to use Image sites to upload feats and such only to then link them. Uuuugh.

I also miss uploading scans and ease of quoting posts. No other website came close to the tools CV provided for debate and tourneys.

So what comes close. Its been two weeks of nothing fix and its no secret the admin dont care about this site. Whats a good alternative and why?

@alonis3612: how so? Its only a small group of people you debate. No one outside that group can read your hard work, cannot get tourneys runnng at all, and pointless for respect threads for debating puposes. I dont see how it works at all as a debate platform.

there are debating servers with hundreds of people in them..

people could read your hard work if you save it or screenshot it and then share it elsewhere when needed.

You can do respect threads on other sites like reddit and then just link it during a debate. Problem?

@alonis3612: with the last point, making Respect Threads (RT) on Reddit look ugly compared to CV, and require uploading libraries of images tona image site and gif site just to then link to the Reddit thread. How asinine is that compared to CV uplaod scans and hide them in spoiler blocks.

Can one make tourneys on Discord?

It might be fixed y ' know..

YouTube, Quora, VSBattles, AminoApps are all better.

@thegreatone003: Not really at this point. The wait time for getting the glitch fixed is ridiculous. The site crashing is nothing new and can be bearable, but the csfr token really does not make it appealing to come back.

@phisigmatau: Eh, agree to disagree. As heated as the debates get, they are a good source of learning different things about characters.

When it gets personal, then I totally agree. I won’t say Im any better, though I try to be.

@legend531: I jokingly identify as a Pokemon, Ditto, as a roundabout way of saying I wish to remain anonymous. And being that a Ditto can shape-shift, I can make as manly or feminine joking as I want without having to worry about revealing parts of my identity.

I think it’s the association to Jean Grey and my rather emotional responses that may give the impression that I am a woman. Whether that is true or not is not something I will not confirm or deny.
