@sufferedtoker: Im going to have to say Strange. His aptitude to understand a global threat when he learned his powerset was far greater on scale than Tony's. Plus, Tony's accomplishments were aided by others work - Scott Lang/Pym with going back in time, Ultron merged with Jarvis, even his arc reactor advancement was merged with his father's work. When you addd Ancient One's talk with Banner, I think it raises Strange more

Hank Pym

Tony was stupid as hell in Civil War and he fights like a retard.

Thanos lost in Titan despite having 4 infinity stones LOL(only Starlord and Nebula extra stupidity saved him)

The rest are not that impressive and I would add Ned to the list btw.

This is an excellent point. Although Tony clearly is a genius, many of his accomplishments were only possible due to the help or work of others.

Hank Pym. A major plot point of Endgame was that there were only enough Pym Particles for 1 round trip. Even with a sample Stark could not replicate it.

This is not some cute technology like the Iron Man suit. This could change the texture of reality. - Hank Pym

It took Stark, Banner, AND Rocket 5 years to create a gauntlet capable of housing the Infinity Stones, yet Stark couldn't replicate Pym Particles.

  • Intelligence - Shuri - she has the highest IQ
  • General Knowledge - Thanos - Dudes been across the galaxy
  • Education - Shuri or Tony
  • Tactical Expertise - Thanos
  • Technological Expertise - Shuri
  • Magical Expertise - Seriously?
  • Willpower - Not sure what willpower has to do with intelligence...Maybe Tony?

Overall, Shuri has the highest IQ...Shes doing things at her age that make what tony did at the same age look like childs play. Girl was working with Nanotech at 15. Took Tony until damn near 50 to do the same. And no, Tony did not invent or create time travel. The concepts were there with Pym. Banner did rudimentary time travel and tony was able to build off that and create functional "dimensional time travel".

But, but Resources!! She has access to Vibranium!! Yes, she had a head start over where Tony started. But lets not act like Tony was living on skid row either. Dude had resources coming out his pores.

I think it has to be Tony. His feats are significantly more impressive than anyone else's.

  • Pym just found a way to manipulate Pym particles, which does most of the work.
  • Shuri found a way to manipulate and use Vibranium, which does most of the work
  • Strange relies on his magic, intelligent but just A+ surgeon level not above that
  • Banner helped with stuff but clearly wasn't in the same ballpark as Tony

Tony:

  • Invented a new alloy
  • Wrote an AI from scratch
  • Invented an energy source that has insane output and seemingly no input
  • The Iron Man suits are a significantly more impressive accomplishment than anything any other character has done
  • Invented time travel that works

I think Arnim Zola is a very close contender. He replicated SSS and found a way to store his consciousness in like 70's or 80's. That's incredible. His devices could harness infinity stone energy and his experiments in Bucky made him survive that huge fall

By intelligence Pym, no one in MCU can replicate the Pym particle. Thanos, Tony, Banner, Rocket even Friday all had samples and none of them could. Also Pym created a suit of armour before Tony was born and he created tech to control Ants.

Also Nanite IM is based on Shuris design, Time travel gps on Pym particles and shield had AI that could hack stack.

But i strongly lean to Fitz-Simmons in overall intelligence

Comics wise, it sounds like Thanos or Galactus kind of beings as they are a different level / league as a whole. I am actually surprised that there is no mention to Reed Richards aka Mr.Fantastic but mention to Peter Parker, Bruce Banner etc.

MCU wise, I would say Tony Stark or Hank Pym due to their scientific and technological expertise but generally all top MCU characters must be extremely intelligent such as T'Challa, Banner, Parker, Clint, Romanoff etc.

Tony is the smartest and nobody is even close by feats.

All the rest of the smart people in the MCU have their particular fields of expertise where they excel in but nobody is as versatile as Tony. He can play and hold his own in every field, even in combat, battle strategies and leadership.

He got the idea of miniaturising the arc reactor and with that he created a super suit, he got the hint of a new element from his father and he created a new element, he already knew quantum physics at an expert level but as soon as he got the hint of being able to execute time travel, he solved it in one night and created a time space GPS, he co created Hulkbuster, he created Jarvis, Friday and co created Ultron, he picked up Nanotech (possibly from Wakanda) and created a self healing Nano Armour that is more advanced and powerful than anything Wakanda has seen, capable of fighting Thanos, he co created a freaking Infinity Gauntlet, he created EDITH, gave Spiderman advanced tech, made a Quinjet capable of space travel. He learnt how to pilot Alien Q ship and repaired Star Lord's ship. His research was used to create a lot of weapons and technological advancements too. He is the GOAT

By feat alone, It has to be Tony Stark easily. Banner and even Smart hulk should be close second if not on par with Tony. Stark himself admits to Banner surpassing him in the fields of radio-physics, particle collisions, and bio-organics although Banner also acknowledges to Stark surpassing him in the field of quantum physics.

Stated to be, however from what is shown, Tony is the top. We have seen him master technology noone else have been able to, like Time Travel, Nano Tech (Shuri is good but not as good as Tony), weapons technology, AI, hacking skills etc...

Tony has more screen time than her for us to appreciate how smart he is. Shuri had 1.5 movies and less than 30 minutes of screen time.

And that is what is holding her back so far from topping the smartest list. We will most likely get more from her when more movies come out.
