Should Wonder Woman be bulletproof?

Of course she should be bulletproof. She is in the tier of Superman, Thor, and Hulk.

Weird how she could get right up after getting punched from the sun to earth by Superman but is weak against piercing damage.

It's a dumb vulnerability, writers should come up with an actual vulnerability/weakness based around....well her Rogues. Magic would be a great example. Have the bullets be magic or swords be magic, it would more sense because it would then be her Rogues with their own powers or whatever. Her getting harmed by regular bullets from regular guns or getting pierced by regular swords...it's just the dumbest thing ever.

She should be. It is silly that she isn’t. But I guess you got to give OP characters some sort of weakness.

She probably should be, but I can understand why they chose not to write her that way

Yeah, I guess so. I do know there are some runs and alternate versions of her that are bulletproof. I’d always been of the mind that she wouldn’t bother with her bracers and/or shield if she could just tank gunfire Superman/Captain Marvel style. Given the fights, battles and things she’s taken and survived it is dumb she usually isn’t bulletproof, but given all the other powers/abilities she has I understand why they give her some vulnerability...even if it is kinda dumb I guess.

By all logic she would be. Her skin fails to break from forces that deal greater pounds per square inch force.

Realistically yes, but I prefer her to be vulnerable.

Her days of fighting Nazis are over. She is now a God fighting other Gods and other powerful Magical beings. The bullet weakness is dumb just like her original weakness of losing power if man tied her up.

She can take hits that would destroy buildings... to the face. She definitely should be bulletproof.

Cheetah has claws.

Cheetah have claws that can cut Superman like paper. It's magical claws given by God of Hunt

@tobymaguire: IIRC only the male Cheetah showed his claws can cut superman and he was stronger than the others. Also superman is vulnerable to magic so it could be that.

She should be tbh it seems like they just want a lazy way of keeping her iconic bracelet blocking a common thing but for the level she operates on she should be.

She absolutely should be bulletproof, it’s dumb and unimaginative of DC to keep such an illogical vulnerability.

Yes, someone of her caliber being vulnerable to regular bullets is dumb. She can't go around trading punches with Superman tier opponents and tanking attacks from teambusters that can shake and bust entire planets and then have her get taken out by a kid with a glock. I know it's comics and it shouldn't be taken too seriously but it's still so silly, like all Superman or anyone else has to do to one-shot kill WW is not punch her apparently but poke her with their fingers.

Minerva has cut Clark, and she became superior to Sebastian Ballesteros later on.

She has never been bulletproof though and always needed her metal to protect her. She never survived a bullet hitting her skin as far as I know. Her piercing durability is pretty poor.

Considering some of the stuff she has been hit with over the years, no it doesn't really make much sense. But then again there are several other weaknesses that don't either.

I understand why she's not, so she has a reason to block bullets with her bracelets. But it doesn't really make sense for her not to be.

Yes but only if it follows her new origin of actually being a demi-god, which means all iterations. How stupid it is that the daughter of Zeus and an immortal race of beings isn't bulletproof. I was just reading a WW comic a few days ago and she was shot by an arror... Pitiful.
