Should we just ban or at least pause DCEU and MCU debates?

It's pretty obvious with the reboot that the DCEU characters won't be able to scale to MCU characters any longer, especially since we got the star feat from Captain Marvel and God Loki (although I guess he isn't canon to the main timeline but still). Maybe the street tiers can still fight it out but the mid and high tiers are too disproportionate now IMO. It's time for us DCEU fans to admit that we lack any relevant content to challenge the MCU as they get more and more feats through movies, shows, and paper media while we are in uncharted territory for the foreseeable future.

@heatforce: I don’t think you understand what canon means there is no such thing as canon to a timeline it’s canon to the mcu which Loki is just because he’s from a different timeline doesn’t make him not canon

He also is that same Loki from avengers he is literally the Loki who escaped the avengers after endgame and evolved into god Loki by the end of Loki s2

So if it's MCU Loki and Thor vs Cat and Mouse, you would automatically assume God Loki from the show? Until Loki interacts with the main timeline, he is a separate version of the Loki that died in IW. Doesn't matter if it's the same Loki from Avengers. Once he was placed in an alternate timeline, he becomes a variant. For example, I can't give god Loki the feats of Non-god Loki post The Avengers. Why? Because god-loki did not experience what non-god Loki did.

Just because Carol and Loki are powerful doesn't mean we should stop making MCU vs DCEU threads. That doesn't make sense.

Pretty fair post… but I don’t think we in general ban verses when they end.. like we still debate with 2000s Blade, or 90s cartoons Spider-Man, or lord of the rings or whatever…DCEU probably will come up less after Aquaman 2, but even if DCEU can’t hang with the MCU top tiers, there are still many mid tier mcu characters for the JL and JSA to fight.

Ban is probably a strong word but it seems pointless due to the reboot outside of street lvlers who don't interact/ scale to their mid or high tiers.

I dunno DC has barely stepped a toe in their cosmic stories and Marvel is pretty far into it. With DC rebooting they won't even qualify as an underdog until there is way more content. Do we even know of Aquaman 2 is pre or post reboot 🤷‍♂️

Yeah ban is a strong word and probably not the way to go but we really need to stop seeing certain repetitive matchups.

The only MCU vs DCEU matches that still make sense are mid tier vs mid tier. DCEU high tier are not that much stronger than mid tier imo, so they don't even compete with MCU high tier. DCEU also doesn't have god tier while MCU god tier is reaching beyond even multiverse level.

Basically, MCU god/high tier vs DCEU threads are lock worthy, but below high tier can be debatable.

And the other 2 marvel girls scale to Carol in someway I'm sure. DC has barely stepped into cosmic. The biggest player we have is dark flash who can be a (low) multiversal threat with hax according to onscreen feats. But unless we use Josstice leauge (i refuse to) the most powerful characters we have aren't even planetary. Moon lvl at max and that's stretching it as far outta my ass as i can. Marvel has legit Sun lvl feats now, and when the Marvel girls cross over into other properties, well, you see the problem.

I personally hate locking battles as they can usually due on their own.. and I’ve always hated places like vs wiki where the mods pick winners and losers.

Id say WW is pretty far below CM and Thor at this point, but again, I’d just hate to stymie anyone who wanted to make a arg... imo y’all’s opinions are just as valuable as mine.
