Should "Venom" be retconned into the MCU?

Movie was great and it should be a part of the MCU.

@the_red_devil: I respect your opinion, but I thought it was bad even though I enjoyed it.

@solar_nerd: It had it's flaws like , Drake was a good character but Riot was a bad villain , Eddie's girlfriend it felt like she was forced into the story at times and last but not the least it could have been a bit darker. Other than that it was an overall good movie in my opinion (Dunno why critics hate it) and I actually liked Venom and Eddie a lot , tbh.

No. Let Sony have their separate, Spider-Man adjacent universe. The MCU should have enough Spider-Man stories to tell without needing to do anything symbiote/Venom related.

Besides, Hardy's Venom has already been positioned as an anti-hero. If he was ever going to be folded into the MCU he should've been a straight villain.
