Should there be a Thor 4?

I think Thor is better off doing what he wants to do, not what he was destined to do. He'll be better off with the Guardians.

Enchantress is in the mcu. If done right they could introduce Nova , Beta ray bill , and Hercules for the next phase in a God butcher story.

Read an article somewhere today that Chris Hemsworth signed another contract for 5 more films with Marvel including GOTG3 and Thor 4.

Yes, I actually think we should get two more Thor movies, and still have him in Guardians of the Galaxy. I'd love another Thor movie that reestablishes Asgard proper in space, as a world, and have it be a silly fun movie, directed by Taika Waititi. Ideally Valkyrie, Korg, Sif etc could return, and we could be introduced to Beta Ray Bill. Have a whole bunch of Thor villains appear, Ulik, Wrecking Crew, Mangog, Midgard Serpent. Introduce more Valkyrie, and Balder, maybe bring in extended cameo from other MCU characters that might need it. The main point would be to give Asgard a win after so much loss and tragedy and rebuild it.

Then have a final Thor movie (but it doesn't have to be numbered) and have this one be more serious and metal - dark fantasy but like good dark fantasy... not Thor II Dark Fantasy also Dark Cosmic Fantasy... and this movie will be the final Thor movie, and use it to showcase off Silver Surfer and Galactus. Have the movie about Galactus heading to Asgard and devouring each of the nine realms (well the non Midgard ones) - give us some Hammer Bro moments, and Loki back but as a good guy again, Valkyrie leading a host of Valkyrie, give Sif some cool moments. Ultimately Galactus final destination is going to be Earth later on in some other Avengers story, and this can be his last stop before that, eating a bunch of realms, and then have Thor die defending Asgard successfully - beating Surfer, not Galactus... but Galactus is temporarily driven away after killing Thor. 7 Realms are devoured but not Asgard, and not Midgard - Asgard is heavily damaged and Thor gets a noble heroic death!

Galactus heads out to feed on some random alien planet we don't care about and to call back old Heralds, have Surfer be impressed by Thor's sacrifice and decide to switch somewhere so in the final Endgame like movie in 20 years or whatever, he'll fight for Earth. Sort of how like Thor Ragnorak set up Infinity War have Thor V set up the end of Phase 5 or 9 or whatever... oh and in that movie, have the Asgardians that survive, Beta Ray Bill, Valkyrie etc show up to help Earth when Galactus gets there.

That would be my ideal world. Doubt it will happen though.

He needs to have his arc closed with a satisfying ending and should re-establish Asgard somewhere not on Earth and remain King to close his arc out right.

They should just have him as an official GoTG tbh. The chemistry between them is amazing.

Yes there absolutely should. There are so many stories to tell with him.

After watching his disappointing appearance in Endgame I'm saying yes.

Yes. His character wasn't given a conclusion and of the remaining MCU characters that might have future movies he's my favorite.

Would be nice to introduce other Skyfathers and Gorr being the main villain.
